Every year I struggle to tell people what I want for Christmas (and birthdays come to think of it). Every year I write a wish list of some sort, but it’s usually right at the last minute so I’m too late to actually tell people the items I’ve thought of.
Well, I’m not making the same mistake again! I’ve been making notes of things I want as and when I think of them and have put together this wish list to share with friends and family.
First up is a proper ‘mum’ present. You may think I’m totally boring but I really want one! And that is a cordless hoover (expects readers to giggle). I’ve asked around and apparently Shark hoovers are incredible. I don’t want a silly expensive one so I’ve found this one which is currently £99 on Amazon. It’s actually a corded one, but I’d be happy to compromise for a Shark. 😉
You may know that I’m a fan of make-up. I love trying new brands and can’t help buying something if I read good reviews about it. I recently bought the Essence mascara from Wilkos and its a-ma-zing! Oh and only £3.30!! I seem to have accumulated a large collection of make up items and really need somewhere to keep them. I don’t really like using bags as you end up forgetting about something when it’s lost in the bottom. So I’d love something like this cosmetic organiser to keep all my make-up neat and tidy.
I’ve decided to set up a little desk area in my bedroom as working from the sofa is getting pretty uncomfortable. I’ve been looking for office accessories and found this cute iPhone charging dock in rose gold. As I have a rose gold iPhone and rose gold MacBook, I feel it’s only right that I buy the rose gold charging dock!
GIVE ME ALL THE CLARINS FLASH BALM. Seriously, I love this product. I’ve got some somewhere and I can’t bloody find it. So it’s on my list as I need it in my life again.
It was my birthday in September and my lovely Dad bought me a Sony a5000 camera. I LOVE IT. One thing I really need is a case for it as I’m terrified of it getting scratched. I love this white leather one and although it’s a little pricey I do prefer it to others I’ve seen.
I recently stumbled across Kikki.K products and O.M.G they are gorgeous. I’ve bought a diary to use straight away, but I’d really love a new planner too. They have a sale on at the moment and this polka dot planner is 30% off. I’ve hinted to my other half to buy it for me asap so it doesn’t sell out, but I’m not getting my hopes up. If it sells out I’ll just have to pick another one!
I really need some new boots and I’ve stumbled across these winners from Next. I like to have 2 pairs of boots every winter. A smart, black pair (like these) and then a more casual tan pair (like UGGs). My current boots are at the end of their lives so hopefully Santa brings me some new ones!
I saw this nude ombre lipstick from Smashbox on Instagram a while ago and have wanted it ever since. I haven’t got around to buying it for myself, so here it is on my Christmas list. They do a range of colours but I do love a nude lip, so want to try this one.
I absolutely love Micky Flanagan. He is hilarious. I’d love to see him live, but after watching him on the Jonathan Ross show I now know he’s not keen on touring, so I’ve probably missed my chance! So I’ll have to make do with his DVD instead!
I’ve always been a huge fan of fur coats (faux of course) and it’s time I got a new one. I’ve got a leopard print fur coat that I’ve had for YEARS and just can’t bring myself to throw it away (even though the longing inside is ripped!) I’m in love with this Unreal Fur Elixir Coat from ASOS. It’s expensive but oh so pretty. And look, it’s grey, my favourite.
I know I’ve already included boots above, but I’ve wanted a pair of leopard print Chelsea boots forever and I love these ones from River Island at ASOS. They are £65 which I think if quite reasonable.
I bought myself an NYX eyeshadow palette from ASOS a while ago and I absolutely love it. It’s a metallic palette so perfect for evenings and special occasions. I’d really love this palette to compliment the metallic shades I’ve already got. And to use for a more everyday look. £8 is such a good price. If you haven’t tried these palettes I highly recommend them.
Finally, you can’t have a Christmas wish list without new pyjamas! Well, I can’t anyway. When I was pregnant with Bear I got some awesome cloud print pyjamas from ASOS and I’m still wearing them now. But as they are maternity pjs, they are a tad big for me so I’d like to buy them again. I’ve found this version on ASOS currently and would love these for Christmas.
That’s it for my Christmas wish list this year. I’m sure I’ll come across more bits I’d like, but there’s plenty here for anyone who wants to buy me something!
What are you asking for this year?

Cool ideas. Check out Dreamlines wedding dress sketch. My husband had a sketch of my dress created. Brought me to tears. A perfect gift since mine is stored away in a box.
