Blogging brings me many amazing opportunities and experiences. Reviewing products is one of my favourite parts of what I do. I’ve always loved helping others shop and choose what they will spend their money on. I’m always the one to find the best price or a sneaky discount code.
I started this blog when Lamb was around 10 months old so I missed out on pregnancy and baby blogging. I’ve been blogging for over 2 and a half years now and in that time I’ve come across brands and products I wasn’t aware of when Lamb was a baby.
When I found out I was pregnant with BB one of the first products I told my husband I wanted was a SnuzPod. I knew this time round I wanted to co-sleep, but with the ability of baby being in their own crib. The SnuzPod offers exactly this.

As I have an obsession with grey and white, I of course went for the Dove Grey crib with the Cloud Nine bedding. We have a grey bed so I knew this would look great in our bedroom.
Putting the crib together was fairly straightforward. As you can see we had a handy helper on the day who was a pro at screwing the parts together. He then tested the crib out to make sure it was safe for baby!
It took us a couple of hours to put together. This may have been a little speedier had we not enlisted a 3 year old to help us!
The quality of the crib is very high. The parts are heavy and sturdy and I love the little details like the copper hinges and screws.
I was worried the Snuzpod would be too big for our bedroom. We live in a standard 2 up 2 down semi and our rooms are quite small. There is little floor space next to our bed, but I was pleasantly surprised with how slimline the crib is.
You can use the Snuzpod in 3 different ways. As a bedside crib, stand-alone crib or as a bassinet. We have only used it as a bedside crib so far, but I think once BB starts sleeping through the night I may move him away from the bed. Although I love having him so close to me.
The SnuzPod has a rockable stand, meaning you can rock baby while they are sleeping. It also has a really useful shelf handy for storing things.
I found 2 really lovely grey cloud storage boxes in Matalan which fit perfectly underneath and look great with the design of the crib.
The Snuzpod comes with absolutely gorgeous bedding and accessories (bought separately). The Crib bedding set includes 2x fitted sheets in a very sweet shooting star design. You also get an adorable reversible cloud print blanket. All made from 100% cotton so super soft on your newborns skin.
The SnuzPod Essential Pack is really worth buying. You get a Storage Pocket which is great for keeping nappies and wipes and any other essential items, and 2x cotton mattress protectors, which I highly recommend in case baby spits up or leaks out of their nappy. You don’t want to ruin the mattress!
Finally, the latest product launched by Snuz is the Swaddle Blanket. Perfect for tiny babies (0-3 months), this blanket design makes swaddling super easy and ensures your newborn feel safe and secure while they sleep. As you can see the Cloud Nine version is in the same print as the cots sheet with gorgeous neon yellow trim.
Attaching the Snuzpod is explained well in the instructions. There are 2 different ways to attach depending on the type of bed you have. We have a divan style base so the straps fasten around the mattress. With standard bed bases, I think you fasten the straps around the bed frame.
To use as a bedside crib the side unzips and tucks down the side of the bed. If you want to use as a bassinet or stand-alone, it’s really easy and convenient to zip the side back up.
You can also use as a bedside crib with the side still up as it has a mesh side where baby can still see you for comfort.
Personally I have the side down completely at all times.
Overall, I absolutely love our SnuzPod. I’m going to be very sad when BB grows out of it! It has made my time with BB at night much easier. I love being able to sleep with my face so close to his. When he stirs I can reach over and settle him, switch on his Ewan or pick him up.

I love our SnuzPod too – definitely worth its weight in gold I reckon! Couldn’t imagine sleeping with a newborn any other way now.
