Every year, finding the perfect gift for my partner becomes harder and harder as they seem to either have everything I can think of or he’s bought himself things he *needs* before I get the chance! So here’s a few ideas that are great for the both of, which hopefully they don’t already have!
A romantic getaway for two
A gift doesn’t always have to be an item. It can be an experience too! Gifting your husband with a romantic getaway is gifting quality time as a couple and an experience to create new memories together. Plus, if you schedule it for once the warmer months come around, you will both have something to look forward! Perhaps a romantic getaway to Sicily in the spring? Imagine holding hands walking along the beach. Dining out with sea views. Exploring and of course, relishing in the incredible food. The weather will be warm come spring and it’ll be during low season so you’ll get Sicily, but with fewer tourists! A new mattress
As you know we recently reviewed a new mattress, and absolutely LOVE it. There is just something about having a comfortable bed that you look forward to crawling in to at the end of the night. If this is something you’ve been discussing buying recently you could always pop an IOU in a card, and his gift could be a new mattress from the Boxing Day Sale! It’s the gift of comfort and a good night’s sleep you will both love.
A cool cookbook
Whether your husband dabbles in cocktail making, enjoys BBQ’ing with family and buddies, or perhaps is a bit timid around cooking, a cookbook is a wonderful way to inspire him to create in the kitchen! Plus, you can both enjoy having fun making new recipes together. Who knows, it might just inspire him to cook more often, too!
A portable speaker
Does your husband love technology and playing music through the house? If you don’t have a system at home, a portable speaker is a gift that will surely get a lot of use. This is a gift that will flood your house with music and give you the perfect setup for a romantic dance just the two of you or a fun dance party with the kids.
