A few weeks ago I was sent a couple of products from the Inlight Skincare collection to try out during my pregnancy, and when baby boy arrives. I received the Organic Restorative Body Butter, and their organic Nyp & Baby Balm.
The Body Butter is a really nice product. I’m lucky not to suffer with too many stretch marks during pregnancy, other than on the backs of my thighs (which I wasn’t really aware if until I was in labour and the lovely midwife pointed them out to me. Yeah, thanks.) I also have them on my sides where my jeans sit, but nothing too visible. My tummy is totally clear of them. 🙂
Throughout both of my pregnancies I made sure I regularly moisturise and have tried out a variety of brands. I’m don’t mind creams and much prefer the oily/waxy products like the Restorative Body Butter. I find they spread well, soak in better and generally feel more hydrating. This body butter has such an natural but delicious smell and is feels extremely nourishing. Whether you believe you can prevent stretch marks or not, it’s still important to keep your skin hydrated during pregnancy, as those babies like to strip us of all of our goodness and keep it for themselves! 😉
The body butter comes with a cute little scoop which is great if you have long nails. The overall quality is amazing and it’s certainly a product I recommend, whether you’re pregnant or not. You can buy the Organic Restorative Body Butter directly from Inlight-Online and it retails at £49.
I was also sent the Nyp & Baby Balm. This cream is 100% organic and can be used as either a nappy rash/ baby cream or nipple cream if you are breastfeeding.
I obviously haven’t been able to use this balm during breastfeeding, but have used it on Lambs bottom as he’s actually been a little sore recently. The balm rubs in well and isn’t too wet, which I find can happen with some nappy creams. Like with the body butter, this product is of a really high standard. The fact you can use it on both baby’s bum and your nipples means you only need to buy one product, and if you’re going out for the day, can just pop this one tube in your changing bag. I’ll certainly be using this when baby number 2 arrives.
You can buy the Nyp & Baby Balm from Inlight-Online and it retails at £19.50.
I’m really happy with both of these products and definitely recommend them. I know the price tag is a little steep compared to other brands, but if you’re looking for high quality and 100% organic then you should try these.
