This is my first time linking up to LittleLoves with blogger Coffee, Work, Sleep, Repeat, but I’ve made it one of my goals this year to document more on the blog, in between the multiple reviews I do. Little Loves is a really easily linky so I should be able to take part each week.
READ
I don’t get time to read at all these days. Which is a shame as I’m a huge fan of thriller novels. You know, the real page turners that have big twists at the end. If you haven’t read Linwood Barlays ‘No Time For Goodbye’ you really need to. One of the best books I’ve read.
This week I’ve been reading Hurrah For Gin’s book to get me through the day. It really does make me laugh!
WATCHED
We’ve all been feeling a little run down since Christmas. Maybe we overindulged a little. So family movies have been a daily occurrence. As Lamb is obsessed with The Avengers we decided to introduce him to the Fantastic Four. At one point he said “that guy has the same face as Captain America!” To which I had to explain why. They are played by the same actor!
We had a great time at the zoo this week watching the animals. Lamb really loves animals and at the moment his favourites are elephants, rhinos and tigers.
MADE
This week I’ve been trying really hard to make different meals for Bear to try. I’m really enjoying weaning with him, which has come as a shock. Having a child who doesn’t eat, I was really nervous about weaning another child. But baby led weaning has been brilliant and I’m giving him lots of new things to try. It does me he’s comfortable putting anything in his mouth and today I had a dirty nappy with little bit of paper in it!
WORE
I’ve spent this week advertising and promoting my January sale. Running a small business and blog alongside a family isn’t easy. Sales are slow so I’m doing what I can to promote. Without sales I can’t continue with my brand, so I’m hoping for a miracle mass of orders! Whenever the boys are wearing my leggings we get so many lovely compliments, so I know the product is good, it’s just a waiting game to make a successful business I suppose. I love seeing my customers in their leggings though.
HEARD
My little cub is still waking constantly in the night. He wakes up screaming and goes from zero to 100! He’s been prescribed Ranitidine to see if that helps with his silent reflux, but at the moment it doesn’t seem to have improved his sleeping. He rarely cries in the day, just at night so it’s pretty mild, whatever is troubling him. I’m just glad we’re trying something new and hopefully there’s a light at the end of the tunnel.
AND LASTLY
I’m determined to be more organised this year. My maternity ends this month so it’s time to plan how I will work on my blog around the kids. I’ve got myself a blog planner, life planner and I’ll be buying another blog planner to keep up to date with finances etc. If I’m going to make a career form this (alongside my brand) I need to treat it like a proper job.
I’ve also just completed a 3 month internship with Social Sparkle, and they have extended my contract which I’m super excited about. So it looks like I can add freelance social media manager to my job description! I’m hoping to take on new clients this year and grow my profile.
I hope you enjoyed my first LittleLoves post! I feel like the things I’ve wrote about aren’t really loves, but things I wanted to document.
~A~

So pleased that you’ve decided to link up with #littleloves this year.
I know what you mean about the juggle with a business, blog and family, it’s so hard trying to find time for everything. Sales have been slow for me this year compared to the last, but then I don’t think I worked as hard at marketing this year. I really need to up my game! xx
Lovely to see you joining in with littleloves, it’s such a fab linky! So glad bear is enjoying his food- if must be such a relief! I really hope sales improve for you. I’m always complimented when my two wear them and I try and send them your way 🙂 xx
