With life being so hectic at the moment I’m having to be quite picky with what reviews and campaigns I take on. Especially toy reviews. Kids aren’t the easiest creatures to work with. They don’t often listen to instructions, sometimes get up and walk out, or refuse to sit still for the camera etc.
Having said that, when Tech Will Save Us got in touch and asked if I’d like to review and promote their brand new Marvel Avengers Electro Hero Kit, I took one look at it and knew Lamb would absolutely love it.
It combines 3 of his favourite things. Play dough, technology and of course the Avengers.
As my other half is an electrician, I gave him the role of reviewing this with Lamb. It was such a lovely way of them spending some quality time together and for Lamb to learn about what his Daddy does for a job.
Using the online manual, you can choose from a selection of missions to complete. Maybe you’ll help The Hulk smash through walls or perhaps help test out Captain Americas invincible super shield?
The kit doesn’t come with it’s own play dough, however making your own ‘electro dough’ is the first mission in the online manual. The manual loads each instruction and as every step of the ‘mission’ is completed the percentage bar increases. Allowing you to monitor how much of the mission you have left before it’s complete.
This, in my opinion, is a amazing feature. A great way to get those ‘iPad’ obsessed kids (like mine!) hooked on the product.
We ended up using our own play dough just for convenience. However I would definitely recommend making your own so you can make it red, green and blue to fit with characters your playing as.
The kit comes with everything you need (other than the play dough) to make circuits, parallel circuits and buttons. Once you have followed the instructions, your circuit will be complete. The result could either be a light bulb glowing or the sound of hulk smashing his wall.
Lamb was completely fascinated with this and even called himself a scientist afterwards!
“Daddy I’m a scientist now!” (How adorable is that?)

When the Electro Hero Kit first arrived both my husband and I were worried it wouldn’t be easy for Lamb to understand, even though it’s aimed at ages 4+ years.
We couldn’t of been more wrong.
Ok, so he might more be able to recite back to us what he achieved from completing the missions, but he absolutely understood what his dad was telling him confidently and was very much engrossed in his ‘missions’.
Since being sent this product we’ve played with it over and over and it has really become a favourite of Lambs.
Being in such a tech obsessed generation, it’s sometimes hard to peel the kids away from their screens, But with this toy we were able to incorporate screen time with learning and play. Amazing.
Overall we are genuinely impressed and highly recommend this for any Avengers fan out there.
The Electro Hero Kit retails at £29.99, which I think is actually pretty reasonable as the product can be used over and over again.
If you fancy one of these for your little one you can get yourself 10% using code electrohero10 until midnight 29th April.

* I was sent this product free of charge and compensated for my time reviewing the product. As always all words and opinions are honest and my own. I wouldn’t lie to you guys!

What a great way to get children interested in circuits and electricity and to help them understand how it all works. My middle child in particular would love this!
This is a great way of getting them into science at a young age but making it good fun too.
I’m not sure about this for Amelia but James my other half would love this! He’s obsessed with how things work so something like this is actually so much fun for him, he’d love to do it with Amelia haha xx
We recently got sent one of these for a birthday gift guide. It awesome to see another review.

Oh wow this is so cool and a great way to get kids into STEM from an early age!
This sounds amazing! My little one is just getting into all the marvel hero’s at the moment so I think this is something he would Definietly like as has very into exploring and discovering how things work.
It’s my son’s birthday next month and I think this sounds perfect for him. Sounds so fun.
What a fantastic product and way of introducing children to electricity in a fun way 🙂
I love this marvel kit! looks both fun and educational too, so has that duel purpose x
This looks great! Toys were definitely not this cool when I was younger. Looks like yours really loved them 🙂
This looks amazing! I home ed so this sort of thing would be great for my eldest! x
My kids love play dough at the moment so combining that with a bit of technology and science would be a big hit in my house. We already make our own play dough – though sometimes the colours can be a bit dodgy if I mix them wrong.
This sounds great and a real hands on fun toy. I like the electronic element too which I’m sure will please the kids!! x
Oh this looks perfect for the ultimate heroes fan. I know my little nephew would absolutely love this, looks like lots of fun.
This looks amazing. Any toy that gets kids to love science has to be a winner. It looks so much fun too. I love the look of concentration on Lamb’s face. Hugs Lucy xxxx
This looks awesome! What a great way to teach kids about electronics and circuits in a way they will engage!
