I’ve kept a little quiet about my birthday this year. Mainly because I just don’t have the time to think about it, and let’s face it, it’s all about the kids these days.
Having said that, I do love a good wish list post. So here I am sharing with you what I’m hoping the birthday fairy might bring me in the morning. Yes, that’s right, it’s my 31st birthday tomorrow.
(Some things I’ve asked for or mentioned so may actually get, the rest I intend to buy if I get any birthday money).
The first thing I’ve asked for is some new make up brushes. I’ve seen lots of beauty vloggers use the Real Techniques Bold Metals brushes and I’ve been lusting after them for a while. This set is incredibly pricey, so a couple of individual brushes would be perfect.
Because I spend most of my time at home, I’m always desperate for a new pair of slippers. I prefer ones that are easy to slip on hands free and have hard soles so I can go outside in them too. I’m hoping my boys will buy me a pair!
I don’t actually need any new perfume at the moment. I currently have Lancome La Vie Est Belle, and 2 Marc Jacobs perfumes I’m using. But, if someone wanted to buy me perfume I’d absolutely love a bottle of Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb. I haven’t had any for years and it’s absolutely delicious.
This is a bit bonkers as it’s so expensive, but I’ve been lusting after the Sony a5000 for months and I’ve decided to pop it on my wish list as something I’ll put birthday money towards. And then save up until I can afford it. I already have a Sony DSLR camera but it’s just too big for everyday photos. So I’d love this more compact camera to fit in my bag.
I’ve almost run out of Double Wear (perfect timing, hey?) so I’ve asked my mum to give me some pennies to buy a new bottle. I change between 2 shades throughout the year. And as it’s getting closer to Winter I may have to go for the lighter shade this time. So if mummy gives me pennies I can pop to Debenhams and get them to help me decide.

I was hoping I’d last until Christmas to ask for these, but my current boots are not looking too healthy so I’m adding these super cosy UGG boots to my wish list. I always like to have 2 pairs of boots in my wardrobe. A tan or brown pair for more casual outfits. And a black leather pair that are a little more dressy. To be honest I could do with replacing the black ones too, but the brown ones look a little injured so they are to be replaced first. These UGGs are from Office and I love them.
I was walking through Next the other day and spotted this coat and instantly loved it. Show me anything with a fur hood and I’ll show you my money. Just how cosy does it look!
I love getting new coats as the weather gets colder. As my one last year was a maternity one (yep, I made that last didn’t I), I think it’s time to invest in one that doesn’t have extra space for a huge bump.
I also need one that fits over my huge hips. This would be perfect as I can go up a size then pull in the drawstring at the waist to make it fit better.
If I don’t get it soon, it will definitely be going on my Christmas list.
So there, you are. My 31st birthday wish list. Now I’m switching off my laptop, pouring a G&T and enjoying my first childfree evening in ages.
~A~
(P.S. I had a look at my wish lists from previous birthdays to see what I asked for. You can see my 29th birthday wish list here.)
