Last year we were sent a Thomas GoGlow from Worlds Apart to review. You might think “wow, that’s a long time to write a review”, and yes I would always review a product quicker than this. However, Lamb just didn’t pay any attention to his new night light. I made the decision to wait a bit longer before writing the review. My gut told me he was too young to notice it, and to wait until he was a little older to review the product, rather than writing a negative review.
I think I was right to do this. Lamb now waves goodnight to Thomas aka ‘choo choo’ and sleeps happily (sometimes) with his GoGlow glowing in the corner.
Lamb hasn’t been a good sleeper for over a year now, so I always worry about allowing him to have nightlights etc, which may create too much stimulation when he’s trying to sleep. With that said, I have noticed as Lamb gets older, having the night light on in his room has become part of his routine. I put him to bed, give him his doggy and dummy, switch on the GoGlow and we say goodnight to ‘Mr Sunshine’ and ‘Choo Choo’.
Little details like this have really helped me get him back into a routine at bedtime. We seriously struggled last year and ended up co-sleeping for around 3 months (another reason I couldn’t review the GoGlow straight away).
You can purchase the Thomas Go Glow
from Amazon or Argos for £19.99. After using the light for some time I have noticed the connection on mine is a little dodgy. The light flickers and doesn’t always stay on if knocked or moved. For that reason I would say £19.99 is a little pricey, however I have seen these lights in Aldi on special offer for much cheaper, so it’s worth keeping an eye out in their baby events.
A little bit more about the GoGlow…
Other than the dodgy connection, we really like this product. I’m sure the fault is a one off so don’t be put off by our experience. I just wanted to be honest in the review.
If you haven’t been on the Worlds Apart website yet, then head over and take a look. They have some really amazing products available in a variety of characters and brands.
We are also reviewing the Worlds Apart My First Readybed soon and have a little giveaway up our sleeve! Make sure you visit back to enter.

* we were sent this product free of charge in exchange for our honest opinion and review.

There are loads of rides and attractions based around some of the favourite Cbeebies characters. Lamb particularly liked Mr Tumbles Sensory Garden, Postman Pat’s Parcel Post ride, and Charlie and Lola’s House. Be warned, not all of the characters are there and I have been told they are looking to expand, so we will just have to visit again once they do! For example, we were pretty disappointed not to see Mister Maker’s Shapes there as these are Lambs absolute favourite. Also I thought we might see national treasure Peter Rabbit there. Even though, what is there is so much fun and hugely entertaining.
