My life began in your arms,
And that’s where I love to be.
I smile the moment I see you,
And giggle when you play with me.
When you’re in bed or at work,
I shout when you can’t be found.
I happiest when I’m with you,
I cry when you’re not around.
I’m learning so much from you.
How to walk, run and play.
I’m growing up to be just like you,
I could kick a football all day!
Daddy you’re my hero,
I love you more and more each day.
I wrote this poem for you,
So I could say Happy Father’s Day!
Love Jaxson.

The screaming and crying is a regular thing now. Sometimes I think he’s just crying for the sake of it. But most of the time I know it’s out of frustration. Frustration over having no independence from us. He’s never crawled, and now really wants to walk, but relies on us to help him. Poor little lamb.
