The countdown is on and what more fun to get you in the mood for Christmas than arts and crafts with a six and three year old… hmmm just about anything else.
Each year, I undertake the eugh task of getting out the paint supplies and having them make something absolutely stunning. (Well they make something okay). It’s a tradition, and with every year there’s a new ornament to add or something to hang in the window. Our collection is growing.

Those words. Damn they hurt. But it’s an occurance my children have had to experience. At only five and three they shouldn’t have to utter those thoughts but they have. They’ve both asked dad if mums needs another nap, why isn’t she up today, why is mummy crying, is she sad again?
I’m so excited to introduce my new resident guest blogger to you. My wonderfully lovely sister-in-law. She is probably one of the most caring and kind people I know, but has been through a tough time over the last 3 years and she’s here to share her story with you.
