Right it’s the final week before Christmas, and whether you’re finishing off your last bits or racing the the shops, this toy should be on your list. Part of Argos exclusive chad valley range, the tiny treasures doll is perfect for that little person in your life.

My daughter and son have both played with baby dolls over the years, but nothing quite like this one. It prides itself on the realistic look and feel of a real baby; it’s even scented like talc to give that newborn smell we all crave! The packaging works twofold; the dolls buckled in a car seat harness and perfect for continued use.
To be honest, when presented with the opportunity of reviewing this toy, I wasn’t the keenest. How different can a baby doll be? But after feeling this little guy, it really does boast my imagination into thinking he is like a really baby. So for my children they were enamoured by him.
He is honestly so life like, the skin is soft and smooth to touch. The bottom half of his body is weighted with beads inside, which makes it crease and move like a real little one, unlike similar rigid plastic dolls on the market. It weighs just over two pounds so more so than other dolls, but this just further reiterates the lifelike attributes to this toy. It even comes with a baby hospital tag and birth certificate, just reinforcing that bond between baby and child.

I love to promote imaginative and realistic role play and this is a toy which does exactly that.
It currently retails at £39.99 exclusive at Argos, and is available in pink and blue outfits. With a further range of clothing and baby essentials also, perfect for expanding kids play. I didn’t think the price tag was too bad considering the quality of the doll compared to its on the market counterparts. All you have to do is look at the positive five star reviews in their hundred on Argos website.
