So Christmas is round the corner and I’m starting to get the texts “can you give us some ideas for your Christmas gift please?”
Well no, I can’t, because I have no idea what I want!
I’m so bad at giving people ideas. This year seems particularly difficult. I’ve said before I think it’s down to our low income and not really lusting after anything, because we avoid shopping etc.
I’ve sat down this week and tried my hardest to put together a gift guide of things I’d love to receive and have decided to create this post for you. I’m also going to include some items I’ve been loving recently and already have.
First up I desperately need better storage for my make up. I have lots of little organisers, but my dressing table is looking rather cluttered! So I need something bigger that will fit more.
I’ve found a couple that I really love. I particularly like this SOHO Rose Gold Vanity case from Argos. I think it’s really reasonably priced at £29.99.
Next up is a brand I’ve lusted after (oh look I do lust ha) for a while, and that’s Charlotte Tilbury. My bestie bought me one of her lipsticks for my birthday this year and it’s amazing. I’ve heard so many great things about the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream, so that’s on my Christmas gift list. Whether I get it is another story, it’s quite pricey!
I’ve got the Very Victoria lipstick and it is the PERFECT daytime colour.
Ever since I smelled the relaxing aromas of my friends Neal’s Yard diffuser I’ve been desperate to get one of my own. One of my favourite smells ever is the ‘spa’ smell. Anything that reminds me of a spa and I instantly feel relaxed.
Working from home isn’t easy. I’m surrounded by laundry, clutter, toys, dirty dishes. It’s really hard to concentrate and switch off. I’d love an electric diffuser of my own to help set the mood and let me relax while I work, as well as unwind in the evenings.
Next up on my list of Christmas gift ideas involves one of my favourite things – gin! Of course, buy me all the gin for Christmas, but there’s something in particular I would like, and thats gin glasses! Can you believe I don’t have any gin glasses? I’ve spied these on Amazon…
Of course you all know my favourite gin & tonic flavour is elderflower. So I’d LOVE some elderflower liqueur gin pretty please.
Something I’ve been using for a couple of months, which I love, is the Slendertone Abs 8*. Working out isn’t something I have much (any) time for. I’m, not a gym goer, and see running around after Bear as exercise. After having 2 kids my stomach hasn’t quite gone back to the washboard look it had before (yeah right!)
I can use the Abs 8 while doing housework or working from home. Easy!
Make-up is a passion of mine and I’ll never be disappointed if I receive more. I love a wide range of brands and price points, and if you’re after something that’s great value I highly recommend Sleek Make-Up*. Available from boots (and often in their Christmas gift special buys) the lip creams are my fave and their Liteproof foundation is amazing.
Every Christmas I always ask for a new coat (either that or I treat myself to one in the sales!) and I have fallen in love with this camo jacket from ASOS. I’ma sucker for a bit of faux fur, love camo and will never dislike blush pink EVER. So you can see why I have a soft spot for this jacket!
Finally, I’m totally in love with Ryan Reynolds and have been since Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place. I love ‘boy’ movies, probably more than chick flicks. Chuck on a Marvel film and give me some popcorn and I’m a happy bunny. So if I cross Ryan and Marvel what do I get? DEADPOOL. SO someone please buy me Deadpool 1 & 2 on DVD for xmas pretty please.
Of course I couldn’t write a women’s Christmas gift guide without including something from my own shop! My bestseller and favourite item to wear currently is my ‘Motherhoodie‘. You can see me wearing it with the Slendertone in the photo above!
So there’s my Christmas gift list. A couple of things I already own and love, and thought they’d be great to add. The rest I’m hoping Santa leaves under my tree!
