My Walls Have Never Looked So Pretty! Desenio Review & Discount Code!

I’ve always been a creative person. I studied art & design and photography in my A Levels, and of course went on to become a Fashion Designer.

I think because I work in design, and spend a lot of time designing clothes etc, I kind of switch off when it comes to interiors. We start to buy bits and bobs for the house, trying to make it look nice, but slowly give up and never finish a project.

My bedroom was recently redecorated, but you guessed it, it’s not finished. The walls are bare and it’s just bland.

I’m obsessed with bedding so have plenty of gorgeous duvet sets. I love a succulent or two so have bought some faux plants for my dressing table. Little baskets of trinkets dotted around.

But the walls are empty. Completely empty.

This is where Desenio have come in to save the day.

I’ve followed their socials for a while now and am totally obsessed with what they offer. Their prints are simply stunning and there really is something for everyone; something for everyone’s taste.

When we discussed a collaboration I knew instantly I wanted to choose prints for my bedroom. I’ve been desperate to fill the walls with lots of prettiness but just kept putting off the project. But finally my bedroom has some artwork!

The colour scheme in my bedroom is very on trend right now, so I knew I’d be able to find plenty of pictures that would be suitable.

I wanted the prints I chose to reflected my taste. Girlie, pretty, but modern and contemporary. I also wanted to make sure they represented the room they were hanging in.

When I studied photography at college I found a love for black and white photography. Particularly photos of women from the sixties. Women smoking. In lacy underwear. Faces full of make up. Very empowering photos.

I saw this photo and knew I wanted to order it.

I want my bedroom to be a place that is my little sanctuary. Whether I’m in there to get ready for the day, sleep, do some work in peace, or have a family snuggle watching a movie, I want it to feel relaxed and not too busy.

The huge close up ‘Dusty Rose Poster‘ to me is really tranquil and calm. I absolutely love it and think it sites perfectly with the rest of the room decor.

I also love the neon love poster and the kissing illustration. As this is our bedroom, a place of us to be close and relax, it’s nice to remember how much love there is between us and reflect that in the prints we chose.

When I was choosing prints from Desenio one thing I struggled with was visualising how the prints would look and what sizes I would need. Then I discovered their Gallery Wall in the Inspiration section. Here I was able to choose a layout of frames and sizes and then drop in the prints I liked until I was happy with my selection.

Honestly, this was such a life saver!

The Desenio website was really easy to navigate. I was able to ‘favourite’ prints I liked, which I could then use in the wall gallery (this saved so much time!) The only criticism I have is there was just too much choice! (Which isn’t really a bad thing, it just meant my indecisiveness kicked in and it took me ages to choose!)

The prints are amazing value. I was actually really surprised at the prices and think they’re super reasonable. Especially as the quality is so high. You also have the choice to order frames with your prints. You can preview what the frame looks like with the print. (Either directly on the print page, or by using the wall gallery).

The frame you choose will automatically be the correct size too so you don’t have to worry about finding the right one. The website does that bit for you!

I honestly can’t praise Desenio enough for the amazing choice of prints they have. I’m totally crushing on my new feature wall and can’t wait to add even more prints around my house!
