Buying for my other half is ridiculously difficult. He isn’t ‘into’ anything, doesn’t need gadgets, hardly wears nice clothes (it’s either work gear or gym gear). So I’m stuck when it comes to shopping for him.
When I was contacted and asked if I wanted to choose some new clothes for my other half from Jacamo, I instantly thought it would be impossible. His build is an average medium and Jacamo sells bigger clothing, right?
Wrong.
They have a full range of sizes and brands. There is so much choice!
After an hour or so of browsing I gave up and told my other half to choose an outfit. I was pleasantly surprised with what he picked out!
I’m always complaining at how scruffy he looks when we go out with the kids. I suppose buying for ourselves isn’t a priority at the moment. Any spare money we have (which isn’t any really) goes on the kids. Days out, treats, clothes, and the odd McDonalds.
When my husband does dress up, he looks great so it would be nice to see him in smarter clothes more often!
The items he chose were perfect for what he needs. Something that can be dressed up, and worn smartly, but still casual enough for a family day out.
The first item he chose was a Firetrap jumper. If I do ever buy anything for him, it’s always grey and either a jumper or hoody! I actually saw this jumper and knew he’d like it so I was happy when he put it on his list.
The Lambretta jacket was a surprise actually. He’s never had a jacket like this and I was worried he wouldn’t wear it. Turns out his choice was spot on and it really suits him.
Finally, my favourite item he picked are his Timberland boots. I’ve still got a pair of baby blue Timberlands that I’ve owned for over 15 years and I refuse to throw them away. They are pretty much in perfect condition as I only wear them when it snows. I’ve had way too many falls on ice over the years and have learned my lesson! If we get some snow this winter we can both wear our Timberland boots together! Twinning is winning!
We were pleasantly surprised with the choice of product on the Jacamo website. We had no idea they had such a vast range or price points. There really is something for everyone.
