Recently Lamb has started to really enjoy watching Peter Rabbit on Cbeebies, and the last couple of weeks he’s started saying ‘rabbit’ really clearly! It’s so cute.
We were recently sent 3 new Peter Rabbit books to review. I’ve decided to save these for Christmas and wrap them up for Lamb. I know he will love them. He’s really into his books at the moment and asks for a ‘book’ everyday. We don’t want to buy too much for him as we are limited for space, so wrapping them up will mean he has an extra pressie under the tree 🙂
‘The Peter Rabbit Club‘ is recommended for ages 3-6 years. I don’t usually look at recommended ages with books. This book is a paperback so the age range is understandable, however Lamb prefers to read paperbacks as he enjoys turning the pages.
The pages are bright and colourful and the amount of words are enough to keep the little one interested, but not too many so they get distracted before you’ve finished! This happens a lot with Lamb…
The ‘Secret Treehouse Sticker Book‘ is fab. So many stickers for the little ones to play with. It’s also full of activities and games. This is definitely one that I would buy for Lamb at any age. He loves playing with stickers. Ok, so he can’t put them in the right places, but it keeps him occupied for a while! As he gets older he will be able to complete the activities and games and scribble on the pages with his pens and pencils.
The final book we were sent is ‘Happy Christmas‘. This is another reason why I’ve decided to keep these books for a Christmas present for Lamb. This book is a board book, so definitely age appropriate for Lamb. I don’t have to worry about him tearing the pages. Although the recommended age is 3-6 years.
.
Overall I am really impressed with the Peter Rabbit book collections. I am so glad we were given the opportunity to review them, because we have been introduced to a lovely collection of story, board and sticker books.
I can’t wait to see Lambs face when he opens them on Christmas morning and shouts ‘rabbit’!
