I was recently contacted by George at Asda (one of my fave supermarket clothing ranges) to look over their baby clothing range and blog about my favourite finds.
I wasn’t sure whether to wait until we found out the gender, but decided to pick my favourite pieces from the boys and girls range to give a little variety to the post. I may throw a couple of unisex items in at the end too as I like to buy a lot of unisex in the early months.
As I’m used to buying for a boy I’ll start with the boys range. Since Lamb was a baby, I’ve found a love for Mickey Mouse baby clothes, which really surprised me as I normally hate gimmicky stuff. The Mickey Mouse clothes by George are not gimmicky at all and really cute. I seem to be drawn to stripes too!
Now onto the baby girls range. Something I’m not used to shopping for! Who knows, I may need to shop for a baby girl more after our scan on Wednesday! I absolutely love the yellow range, perfect for a May baby girl!
I also love the navy/pink items I’ve chosen. How cute is that Minnie Mouse dress!
Next up are some unisex items I like and some newborn essentials.

It feels so strange shopping for newborn items again, but also really exciting! This time on Wednesday I’ll know if the baby is pink or blue and if I’ll be buying Mickey or Minnie!

Oh gosh!!! The girls range is so flipping cute. I love pinks. Obviously.
So cute isn’t it! I normally struggle to buy girls clothes for my nieces, but I love what George have on offer at the mo xx
I’ve found some ace bits for W from George at Asda! I love those floral baby suits, will have to go hunt them out! x
Cute aren’t they! xx
I love shopping for baby clothes and it was so fun shopping for girly clothes after having 2 boys. I love the George clothes x
I havn’t shopped in George for a while but I really love the bits I found online, plus they are really good value! x
Oh these are just adorable! I am in love with boys clothes x
Really cute aren’t they! I bought lots form George for Lamb when he was a baby, so looking forward to buying some bits for baby number 2 too xx
Oh my goodness the little star outfit is gorgeous, will need to keep an eye out for that for Parker! Loving the girly Spring colours too, I wish Indiana could still get away with the baby section haha
So so excited for your gender reveal! Xx
Isn’t is adorable! I was struggling to pick the girls clothes, but those yellow/white bits are adorable! Can’t wait to announce! xx
I bet it’s so exciting shopping for newborn clothes again, I’m looking forward to your gender reveal! I love your choices too, the grey knitted cardigan is adorable! x
I love the grey knitted cardigan, I’ll probably buy that for either gender! xx
I really like your choices! I bought a love Winnie the Pooh set and Minnie Mouse set in there at Christmas 🙂 x
So many lovely things isn’t there! I love the Mickey and Minnie stuff xx
George at Asda have amazing clothes for all ages. I’m a huge fan of their knitted wear xx
I love their baby stuff, not a huge fan of their older boys stuff, but I haven’t looked at it in a while so I’ll probably see if I can find some bits for Lamb when I shop for baby xx
I love George clothing – they usually have a lovely boys range too – some stores are all about the girls! Kaz x
Yep our store is all about the girls! Which is why is don’t ever go there for Lamb, but now I’m shopping for baby too I’ll have to go more often! xx
Aw, these are beautiful, I’m a little bit broody now, eek! I especially love the little teddy bear jumpers, too cute!x
Really cute clothes aren’t they, I can’t wait to get some for baby no.2! x
Have fun finding out on Weds! We went out shopping straight after for their coming home outfit, came home with two little pink outfits for my twin girls. I was sooo excited!
It’s so exciting isn’t it when you can buy a coming home outfit once you know the gender! I’ll be bringing baby no.2 home in unisex clothing so I’ve been looking around for their hospital outfit for a while! xx
I always kind of “forget” that Asda do clothes but I need to pay more attention as there are some cute finds here. Good luck on Wednesday. Will you reveal the gender on your blog? I’m nosy! I reckon girl.
Thank you 🙂 yes I’ll do a reveal on the blog! Xx
You really can’t beat Asda for baby clothes – I love everything – especially the stars! x
I’ve got a thing for stars and stripes at the mo! xx
I love George and with 3 boys, have bought loads from there. In fact, my youngest has that Tigger jacket which is at the end of your top photo. It is super snuggly and warm!
Supermarket clothes in general are really good I find. Such good value! Well worth shopping there, especially if you’ve got 3! xx
There are some great pieces available from George at Asda at the moment. We’ve put together an outfit for Rowan for a blog post with them and we found a gorgeous red duffle coat for him.
Anyway, love what you’ve picked out. The cardigans with the little ears on are adorable.
Laura x
I spotted the red duffle coat too and was going to put it in my girls choices, but maybe it would be ok for a boy too! So I should put it in my unisex choices. But as baby will born in May, he/she probably won’t need a big coat to begin with. xx
Exciting that you find out on Weds! I love little girl clothes – but having two boys means obviously I shop boys only (until my friends have girls eep!) the star dungarees are gorgeous.
Lamb wore loads of dungarees when he was a baby and I’ve kept some, so if baby is a boy he will have plenty to wear! I have 2 nieces and 1 nephew so get to buy a mix of clothes all year round xx
