As you all know Lamb is obsessed with collecting Superzings. He reviewed series 1 at the beginning of the year, and we gave you a sneak peek at series 2 last month.
Today we’re sharing some more snaps of series 2, including their super cool Police Station which comes with 2 exclusive new Superzings!
First of all I’ll show you some of the collectables he got from his blind bags. With series 2 we see an update to their hideouts and vehicles. This time they are round with a rotating door (personally I prefer the ones) and can be stacked while you play. Each hideout comes in a blind bag with one SuperZing inside and retail for £2.50.
We’ve also seen an update to the vehicles with ‘Superjets’ in this new collection. There’s boats, helicopters, even motorbikes. As with series 1, there are still the super shiny metallic rare Superzings to find. Including the bike shown below and a shiny gold hideout (which we are yet to find!)
In this series we also see the introduction of 24 brand new ‘Super Crystal’ SuperZings to collect, giving the kids an exciting new type of SuperZing to look out for. There’s nothing more exciting for a 5 year old then opening a ‘rare’ collectable in a blind bag! And now they have both metallic AND crystal rare Superzings to find!
As well as the new super crystal characters, series 2 also offers a brand new collection of Superzings called the Cyber Squad. Inside you’ll find 5 exclusive characters in a metallic finish. Each one is some sort of ‘technology’ like a VR or controller.
These exclusive characters come in their very own collector tin. It retails at £6 which I think is a great price considering you get 5 special Superzings inside, and a tin you can use to keep your whole collection in.
The most exciting part of this review is the Superzings Police Station, which I will confirm right now, is very much loved by both of my boys.
If you’ve got a Superzings fan and you’re wondering if the Police Station is worth buying, then my recommendation is yes. It’s not too big so doesn’t take up room. It has lots of little doors and places to play with the Superzings. And comes with 2 exclusive new characters AND a police vehicle.
Introducing Captain Justice and Chuck Chain!
Lambs favourite part of the Police Station is the trap door on the top that captures and imprisons the villain.
Whilst the villain isn’t looking sneak over and push the yellow leaver. This releases the trapdoor and ‘klank!’ the villain is trapped in jail!
But be careful, Chuck Chain may sneak out of the escape route, so make sure Captain Justice is close by to catch him!
You all know how much Lamb loved the first series of Superzings and he absolutely loves series 2 even more.
We haven’t quite completed the the new collection yet, but we’re almost there! And Lamb couldn’t believe his eyes when he opened the ultra rare Professor K from a bling bag!!
I have to say, Superzings are my favourite collectable toy the boys have played with. Their prices are reasonable. A blind bag is 80p, then the prices increase.
So when the boys want a reward I only have to spend £1.60 and they are both beyond excited to see what new supering they get! Lamb will be getting a few more Superzings bits for Christmas, including the Secret Lab Attack play set!
I don’t think he will ever get bored of collecting them, let’s hope there’s a series 3!
