It’s only 6 weeks until Christmas and we aren’t prepared at all. With all the wedding planning, I’ve totally neglected Christmas. I’m hoping to do everything last minute once I feel the wedding stuff is under control.
Last year Lamb was too young to know what Christmas is, this year he still doesn’t know but is at the age to appreciate the bright lights, happy music and exciting gifts under the tree. So Joe and I are going to do our best to put the excitement of being newly weds to one side so we can give lamb the Christmas he deserves.
This includes decorating the house. I love things that light up. There’s nothing more Christmassy than sitting in your cosy pjs watching Elf with lights in your windows, on your tree and around the fireplace.
When we were given the opportunity to review a product form the Christmas range at Led Hut, I was more than happy to get involved. Maybe this will give me the kick up the bum I need to start organising Christmas too.
I don’t know if this is a good or bad thing, but the Christmas light arrived while I was at work so Daddy Lamb decided to open my parcel and put the light up himself. Being a little ditzy he thought the light was for Lambs bedroom (we are currently re organising it) and decided to hang it up in his room!
I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised when I got home! The comet light isn’t overly Christmassy, so we are able to use it all year round. We get the impression Lamb is a little afraid of the dark, so having extra lighting in his room (that won’t keep him awake) is really beneficial.
I think it looks fab as a wall light, and when we decide to put the Christmas decorations up, around 2 weeks before Christmas, we will move it into his bedroom window for the neighbours to see!
The comet light retails at £9.99, which is really good value. What I love about this light is it’s double sided, so you can put it in your window and both yourself and your neighbours can benefit from the bright lights! It can be displayed in many different ways and comes with a loop that makes it perfect to hang on the wall, from fittings, on your door or even in the tree.
Until Christmas this light will be staying on Little Lambs wall as I think it looks fab there!
Are you all prepared for Christmas?
Alex
