Baby Bear is 7 months old today and I’ve started introducing the Bickiepegs Doidy cup after her meal times.
So far so good.
For the last 3 weeks she’s been trying various beakers. She’s been getting pretty frustrated as she hasn’t been getting on very well with them. The only one she seems ok with is the Tommee Tippee First Cup.
I’d read a few decent reviews on the Doidy cup, so I thought we’d give it a go. She seems to really like it. She attempted to sip from it straight away, that’s a big thumbs up from me!
The great thing about the Doidy is it allows your little one to see what’s inside, without having to tip it all over themselves. It’s a great starter cup to get them used to sipping.
Baby Bear is only 7 months old, so she can’t quite hold the cup without throwing it around, pretending it’s a drum/chewy toy/hat (the downside to it not having a lid). So, I can’t leave her with it without her soaking herself, the highchair and anything in close vicinity. I’m sure in a couple of months, when she’s learnt how to hold a cup properly, she won’t be throwing it all around. (Fingers crossed).
So, I’d recommend the Bickiepegs Doidy cup to any parent that wants to help their little one with moving up from a beaker to a more ‘adult’ cup, and to any parent that is finding it hard to get their baby to take a bottle or beaker. The Doidy cup could be the answer. (Comes in lots of colours too, bonus!).
