My Tommee Tippee Travel Food Warmer arrived last week, and I promised I’d write up a little review on the blog once I’d had a few days to use it.
So far I’ve used it for night feeds (for warming up milk and water, as my little one has decided it’s warm milk, or no milk). And I’ve used it when out and about to make up bottles, as well as warming food.
So far, so good. I’m impressed.
I’m still combination feeding, so we only give 2 or 3 formula bottles in a 24 hour period. I can imagine, if you’re 100% formula feeding, and weaning then this travel food warmer would come in very handy. It’s big, but not too big for your baby bag. But this means it carries plenty of water to last you a good couple of feeds.
- Water stays heated up for hours. I took it upstairs about 10pm (ready for a night feed), and it was still warm at 8am in the morning.
- Carries plenty of water. Enough to make up 2 bottles (or to warm up 2 bottle, or a couple of food jars).
- Saves money when out and about, as you can make up formula, rather than buy the expensive ‘ready to go’ formula bottle.
- I love the design. It’s great how the container to warm up bottles/jars screws nicely over the flask.
