I’ve always been a cat lover. When I was little I remember always sneaking our cat into my bedroom so he/she would sleep with me. There’s something so comforting about cuddling up to a fluffy friend.
We had a few cats while I was growing up. Toby was our first, then we got Cooper (she was my favourite, we had such a close bond up until my early twenties when she died). We had a beautiful kitten called Chloe, who unfortunately wasn’t with us very long. We had Ralph, who was an absolute psycho, then there was Pippin.
Cooper lasted the longest. She was loved so much by everyone. She was the hardest for us to lose.
When hubby and I moved into our house we knew we would get a cat eventually. He’s a cat lover too. I think pets are a great way of teaching children how to take care of something and the responsibility.
Mowgli was our first cat as a couple. I loved him. He was black, fluffy and a little bit mad. He used to literally attack me while I’d be getting changed so I’d have scratches everywhere, but for some reason I still adored him! Cats with character are the best.
Last year we got Gruffalo and Luna. Unfortunately Gruffalo died last year and Lamb was devastated. He still talks about him today. Luna is my dream cat. She’s a beautiful fluffy ragdoll and such a queen.
Even if you don’t have cats, everyone can appreciate the cuteness of kittens. If you don’t think kittens are cute you must be mad! 😉
Whiskers have created this adorable video featuring some of the cutest kittens ever.
