Innocently looking at your photo, smiling at seeing your face, telling everyone you are his Great Nanny.
Today would be your 90th birthday, but unfortunately you didn’t quite make it.
Your funeral was last week, but I couldn’t attend. It’s not a place for a baby.
Even though you were my husbands Nan, I loved you like my own.
You loved me the same.
We all raised a glass for you today, in honour of this birthday milestone.
I’m sure you’re up there doing the same.
Playing the piano, making friends with everyone.
Happy birthday Nan/Great Nanny.
You will be forever in our thoughts.
