This is my first time linking up to LittleLoves with blogger Coffee, Work, Sleep, Repeat, but I’ve made it one of my goals this year to document more on the blog, in between the multiple reviews I do. Little Loves is a really easily linky so I should be able to take part each week.
How Do You Spend Your Baby’s #SleepieTime?
Having a baby is exhausting. We all know that, even those who don’t have kids. Sleep when the baby sleeps they say. Try to nap as much as you can. I’m sure we can all agree that’s easier said than done.
As soon as those babies are asleep in their cots it’s all hands on deck right? Eat, clean, shower, work, play with Lamb, catch up on TV, everything you can’t do with a baby in tow.
In the early days our time is spent having lots of newborn snuggles. We all hear parents talk about babies sleeping on their chests and it being the best thing ever. But are we making the most of these snuggles?
Probably not.
Silent Reflux – Our Story So Far {Guest Post}
Todays guest post is from Victoria (Mummy Times Two), who is sharing her experience with silent reflux. I was so intrigued to read this post, as we are struggling with Bear who is now being medicated for silent reflux.
After reading this I know he doesn’t have it badly. He breastfeeds really well, is weaning brilliantly, and rarely cries during the day.
It’s sleep that we are struggling with. He arches his back and screams every time he wakes up, which can be hourly. Feeding settles straight away. At the moment we are trying Infant Gaviscon and it seems to be helping, but he’s still waking a lot, and only naps for 30 minutes. *Yawn*
Weaning Wednesday {Week One} – There Are No Rules
As weaning is such a huge part of my life right now, I thought it would be great to share our journey with you. I’m no pro at weaning. I’m actually completely useless. Forever asking people questions like “can I give Bear this?” “Should he be drinking water by now?”
Having said that, I’m learning lot and I’m slowly feeling more confident with the progress we are making. The thing about weaning is, it’s another one of those topics that attracts debate. Yeah, you read it right, weaning causes debate.
There are actually people out there who feel so strongly about the way they wean their children, anything else is just plain wrong.
Those are people I like to avoid.
Living Arrows 1/52
This year one of my blogging goals is to take part in more linkies. Living Arrows is run by the lovely Donna over at What The Redhead Said and is the perfect way for me to get back into joining in.
Each week I’ll share a photo of Lamb & Bear that I feel is a moment I want to remember.
“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
