I’m writing this a couple of days before your birthday, as I know we will be super busy opening your pressies and preparing for your Avengers party!
Us parents are like old records, but I really can’t believe you’re now 3 years old. Life in the beginning was tough for me when you were a baby, you’ll learn more about this if you ever decide to read my older blog posts. However, as you’ve grown, so have I. I’ve moulded around you and your needs, I have learnt what it means to be a mother and how to do it to my best ability.
You’re starting test us now you’re 3 (I get why parents use the term ‘threenager’) but you’re also growing into the most beautiful little boy who constantly makes us laugh and smile.
You have amazing characteristics that are totally infectious, even to a stranger in the street. No matter where we are; riding the bus, shopping in the supermarket, eyes are on you watching your quirky ways.
This is your last birthday as an only child so I’m going to soak up every last moment with you. I often wonder how I could possibly love another child when I give you everything I have, but I know when I see you meet your brother for the first time, my love will grow and share between the two of you.
I didn’t start this blog until you were around 10 months old, so not many people have seen you as a newborn. So to celebrate your 3rd birthday I’m sharing a collection of my fave photos you as a tiny bubba.
My dear Little Lamb, I love you so much, happy 3rd birthday.
Love Mummy x
