Let’s face it; this year you have hated your house.
If you don’t hate it fully, you hate certain aspects of it and want to change it by year’s end. You join the ranks of pretty much everyone who has spent almost the entire year stuck in the same four walls, ceilings and most importantly floors.
Well it’s only 4 months until Christmas so why not get yourself a present early and give your home a change up? Start from where you will take your first steps and change your flooring to something that makes you happy in sight and in mind. This is where Luxury Vinyl Flooring (LVT) becomes your new best purchase.
Luxury wood effect vinyl flooring is incredibly popular for those wanting to embrace that back to nature vibe to their home, and it’s hard to argue with its beautiful dark and light wood ranges that can instantly give your home that extra bit of character required.
So why are people so attracted to the prospect of vinyl flooring and its many options? Well, that is part of the answer in itself. The sheer quality and quantity of the ranges available are indistinguishable from the real thing and a hell of a lot cheaper and easier to install and maintain.
In fact, those that choose vinyl for their home see it as a nice little DIY project whilst stuck in the house, with homes given a new injection of life over such ranges as Maximus Click to really give a sense of achievement in restyling your home.
Individual planks and tiles are also an incredibly cheap alternative to real wood or stone which also can wear and chip over time. Replacing an individual tile or plank of vinyl is straightforward and not disruptive to the rest of your floor. Disposing of any offending tile or plank is also a simple task that also reduces waste.
Then there is the maintenance.
This is the best part of the qualities of vinyl flooring because of the ease in keeping your floor how it should be. You don’t need expensive stain removal chemicals and hours of TLC on your LVT. In fact, with anti-stain, anti-scratch and moisture resistant technologies coming into play, you can clean within seconds with just a quick mop and warm soapy water mixed with household vinegar to retain an envious shine all year around.
So why not give yourself an early treat this year and give your home a makeover with Invictus Luxury Vinyl Flooring.

During lockdown we decided to put our house on the market. We NEED a bigger home. This isn’t a case of us fancying something new, this is us totally outgrowing the space we have.
Evening guys, here’s hoping everyone is remaining sane, we are almost at the end of the summer and the kids will soon return to school. Whoop whoop!

Okay so this doesn’t bother children at all, they dont notice these small details, but for me it’s a big misstep, especially as it isn’t a cheap toy. Both the kids have had their fair share of pretend toys over the years, and I can’t help but compare it to these, and for that reason I wouldn’t purchase it at full price, currently retailing at
Popular children’s book ‘Love Monster’ has been turned into a Cbeebies TV show, and we have been given the opportunity to watch some of the new shows and review 2 books.
As well as our books, we also received a little activity bundle with a plant pot and cress seeds. This was a fab little addition to our review as we have been talking a lot about growing flowers and plants recently, and have watched Lambs sunflower he planted in a plastic cup at school grow to almost as tall as him!
Bear is absolutely obsessed with arts and crafts at the moment, so had lots of fun decorating his plant pot with the paint sticks he received. Of course he asked me to write both their names, as he loves sharing with his big brother.
You can watch Love Monster episodes on BBC iPlayer
Hey guys, the sun in shining, the kids are finally on summer break and I’m still working, oh well two out of three ain’t bad! Here at
For those of you that aren’t aware of the brand, think creative fun makeup for little ones to mess with… gone are the days of hiding my viva glam lipstick from child fingers! Now my little one is super creative and I don’t want to hinder that. So, especially during the past few months, we’ve encouraged her to dress how she wants, hair how she wants and makeup how she wants. If that means she’s modelling a princess costume, hair unbrushed with cat ears and barbie pink lipstick and punk eyes so be it. It’s what she likes and there are only so many years where you can get away with that.
Arabella was luckily gifted two – Evie and Luna, both rocking a cute outfit, funky hair and sassy pose. Each of these are sporting a big head- full of secrets (any mean girls fans out there?). Arabella actually fainted, (pretend fainted as she is a true drama queen) when she unlocked them to find makeup, two eyeshadow, two lip glosses, vanity mirror and lipstick!

As a plus, the dolls sparkle when using the applicator on them- Evie and Luna looking on fleek! Now these retail for £9.99 and I think that is perfectly acceptable, we will definitely be choosing to buy these for anyone her age and beyond! Honestly how cute would it be to hold a slumber party and each guest receive one of these instead of a party bag – fingers crossed this can become a reality in the not too distant future!
