A few weeks ago I was invited to IntuLakeside to try the food at Stampede, a new eatery in the food court. I headed straight to the Stampede website as I’d never heard of the chain before, and as soon as I saw the homepage I replied immediately with a yes. American style burgers, ribs and wings. My favourite.
Stampede is in the food court so isn’t a sit down restaurant. For a mum of 2 that can be a positive thing, meaning we can find plenty of space in the seating area for prams and changing bags.
The menu was straight forward and it was a no brainer I would order a burger. You can choose light, middle or heavyweight, which is 1, 2 or 3 burgers respectively. I went for the middleweight with bacon. My friend went for a lightweight. You can see the two burgers below.
We also opted for a few sides. Chips, onion strings and poutine. I’ve never had poutine or onion strings before and O.M.G they were delicious. Like, seriously delicious.
We also decided to try the milkshakes. We ordered these with the food (stupidly) so I couldn’t finish it because it was way too filling. Delicious, but filling. I recommend you order one after your meal.
The food at Stampede was amazing. It’s my favourite type of food and definitely tasted ‘American’. Not your typical burger and chips.
The prices are pretty reasonable. You’ll be paying double what you would at McDonalds, but you’ll be eating quality food.
If this is your type of food then definitely try out Stampede if you’re ever at IntuLakeside.

It feels a little surreal reviewing the new
The Teletubbies reappeared on our screens last November and if I’m honest I wasn’t sure if Lamb would be that interested. He’s totally hooked on superheroes and bad guys at the moment so I thought this might be a little too ‘babyish’ for him, but I was wrong. He has watched it multiple times and seems to really enjoy it.
As you can see Lamb and his brother already have a beautiful bond and bedtime stories is my favourite time of day.

This year Mamia at Aldi are sponsoring Barnardo’s Big Toddle event – the UK’s biggest fundraising event for under 5’s.
Crikey we got to the 2 month update quickly. Well he’s actually 9 weeks so over 2 months old. My little baby boy is growing so fast, but I’m actually not feeling emotional about how quickly the time is going anymore. I’m just loving watching him develop and change everyday.
