Does anyone else just love ‘redesigning’ their children’s bedroom in their heads? I’m constantly daydreaming different ideas of what I could do to give the boys their dream bedroom. First of all, they’d have a bedroom each, but as they are sharing I’d have to come up with a theme they’d both love.
And who doesn’t love Disney?!
I’ve been looking around for things I could use in a Disney inspired children’s bedroom and have found some really fun stuff to share with you.
First up is this Mickey and Minnie bedding from Next. Mickey has always been Lambs absolute favourite Disney character. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse was his favourite programme when he was a baby and the way he said Mickey Mouse was the cutest. He pronounced it “Mee Mouse!”

I absolutely love this Disney World Disney Sign! Ok, so it’s probably not quite the right distance but what does that matter to a 4 and 1 year old! I’d definitely add this to their Disney inspired children’s bedroom.
Another really cute find is this wall sticker of Jaq and Gus from Cinderella! As a child these were 2 of my favourite Disney characters. Gus is just the cutest and my favourite scene is where they try to dress him in clothes that end up too small. It seems I’ve always had a thing for fashion!

If you’ve got one of their windows in the kids room, you can now get these awesome Disney themed blinds from VELUX. I think I’d go with this Mickey Mouse one if I got a blind for the boys room. This blind could be a really lovely way of adding a favourite Disney character to a bedroom.
How fun is this Disney Planes Pendant Lamp! This is ideal to give a touch of personality to the bedroom. The light is softer than your usual bulb, so could prove particularly useful if you have a child who doesn’t like the dark.
I know one little boy who would of LOVED this bed as a toddler. We didn’t need anything like this as Lambs (and now Bears) cot turns into a toddler bed. But if we were to buy a toddler bed I know they would be so excited to get a Disney one.
If you’re going for a full revamp you could add some Disney wallpaper to the bedroom. I don’t usually like wallpaper that’s covered in characters as it can be a little garish, but this Cars wallpaper from Argos is actually quite nice. I think I could cope with one wall covered in this!
If you’ve got an older child who’s a Star Wars fan, you could add these curtains to their room which I found in Argos. Perhaps you could keep their room quite plain and just add a bit of Disney on accessories like curtains and bedding.
Those a just a select few ideas of how you can add a bit of Disney to your child’s bedroom.
Do you have a Disney fan in your house?
