As a small business myself, I know how important it is to support independent and small brands. When Lettie & Nix got in touch and asked if I wanted to review some clothes for the boys, I was more than happy to.
Lettie & Nix is an online children’s clothing boutique owned by mum of 2 Serina. All the items have been carefully hand-picked by Serina, sourced from small start-ups to large companies.
Lettie & Nix offer a range of clothing and accessories from baby sizes up to to older child sizes, for both boys and girls.
Both Lamb and Bear were sent something to try, chosen buy Serina herself. Lamb received the Riot Club Grey Lion Print Sweater, which is exactly my taste and most likely what I would have picked if I chose the items myself.

Bear was sent a really lovely check shirt and trouser set by Lily & Sid. This isn’t something I would normally choose for Bear, however Bear looked ADORABLE in the outfit and he will be wearing the shirt and top as his Christmas Day outfit!

The polar bear t-shirt that comes with the set is gorgeous, and this on it’s own is something I’d buy for Bear. It’s perfect for this time of year.
Unfortunately the trousers got a hole in the crotch quite quickly so he can’t wear them again. I have spoken directly to Serina regarding this issue. She has confirmed if this was to happen to a paying customer you would receive an exchange for the damaged items (either a straight swap, or an alternative) along with a voucher as an apology for the inconvenience to use at a later date.
Personally I think this sounds like great customer service. Shopping isn’t easy when you have young children, so I rely on internet shopping most of the time. To then have to take an item to the post office to return because it’s faulty, is an inconvenience, and Serina is clearly aware of this. The offer of a voucher is a lovely touch.
Lambs jumper is size 4-5 years and is true to size. He’s 5 in March, but can still fit in 3-4 years in some items. There’s still plenty of room to grow in this jumper which is what I’d expect for a size 4-5 years on him.
Bears outfit is age 12-18 months. Although he is 19 months old (today!) he has only just gone into this size. And he actually still fits in some 9-12 months clothing! He’s such a dink! This outfit fits him better than I expected, in fact I doubt it will last him into the new year. I’d say it’s true to size, if not a little smaller than other brands. If I was to choose I’d buy this in 18-24 months so it lasts. If you want to buy this outfit I’d recommend going up a size.

The range of clothing on Nettie & Lix is fairly small, but you can see Serina has carefully picked the items she has on sale. I’d buy absolutely everything from the BOYS category.
