Gift Guide ~ Christmas Gifts for 2-3 Years

Time for another Christmas gift guide! Today’s guide is for toys suitable for around 2-3 years. So toys that will be suitable for Bear in about 6 months time. But to be honest he would play with them now.

Peppa Pig Sing & Learn Microphone*

I remember Lamb loving his toy microphone as a child and I can’t wait to see how Bear reacts to this! His current favourite is wind the bobbin up, so I wonder if he will be singing to us on Christmas morning!

Little Tikes Cozy Coupe

Whenever we go to a particular soft play that has a couple of the Little Tikes Cozy Coupes, he literally doesn’t leave them alone. And if he does, and someone else has a go, then out comes the water works! This is a classic gift and well loved by mist kids.

There are quite a few designs of the Cozy Coupe available including a police car, taxi cab and truck.

Leap Frog Count Along Till

A shopping till was always one of my favourite things to play with as a child. We don’t have one for Lamb anymore as he grew out of it, so we need one for Bear. I love this Leap Frog Count Along Till. It comes with coins and pretend food, and allows your child to numbers, colours and counting.

WOW Toys Flip ‘n’ Tip Fred*

We have noticed recently Bear has a new interest in cars and trucks, specifically the recycling truck on Peppa Pig. He shouts and points as soon as he sees it on the TV. When we at soft play he gravitates towards the WOW Toys area so we’re really excited to be giving him the Flip ‘n’ Tip Fred for Christmas.

Leap Frog Picnic Basket

I know both of my boys would LOVE this Leap Frog Shapes and Sharing Picnic Basket. Even though they are both fussy eaters, they love to pretend to eat EVERYTHING. Typical right? This would be an ideal gift for a 2 year old this Christmas. The recommended age is from 6 months, but I think slightly older toddlers would really get into role play with this.

Play-Doh Kitchen Creations

I’ve seen this advertised on the Tv and I think it looks like a great range from Play-Doh. Lamb has all of the Avengers and Star Wars Play-Doh (because, you know, he’s obsessed), but I think he’d really love the Kitchen range. This is suitable from age 3 years, but we allow Bear to play with Play-Doh under supervision as it actually keeps him quiet!

Orchard Toys Shopping List

You may have heard me raving about Orchard Toys games before on the blog, well, because I have… a lot! Shopping List was one of Lambs first Orchard Toys and it’s still one of his favourites. It’s recommended form 3 years, but I’m pretty sure Lamb had this before this third birthday.
