Another ‘egg’citing toy review for you folks – this time it’s the new series of Hatchimals! As you know, my boys LOVE collectable toys. Literally anything that comes as a surprise, is tiny and easy to lose, and they’re all over it. Hatchminals cover all of that and you guessed it, they’re invested in this cute and colourful range of collectables.
The new series is called Mermal Magic, so of course has a under the sea theme to it. We were kindly sent a Hatchimals CollEGGtibles 1 pack (RRP £2.99), a Hatchimals CollEGGtibles 2 pack with nest (£4.99), a Hatchimals CollEGGtibles 4 pack plus bonus (RRP £9.99), and finally a Hatchimals CollEGGtibles 6 pack Shell Carry Case (RRP £12.99).
The new series brings you sparkly new egg designs, brand new ‘under the sea’ inspired characters and of course lots of extra fun play sets.
My favourite thing about the Hatchimals range is the hatching. I love the fact it takes the kids little while to rub the heart and help the egg crack. My youngest took forever to pick away each little piece, but that just added to the joy and excitement of finding out what was inside.
As you can tell from the name of this new range, this new selection of Hatchimals have a mermaid theme. From the shell egg designs, glittery details and mermaid creatures, this is the perfect gift for any mermaid lover.
But if you’re a super fan of cute collectables in general, then you’ll absolutely love the new special feature of series 5.
