For anyone who knows me well, knows my favourite TV show is Friends. I’m not exactly sure how old I was when I first started watching it, but I know I would of been around 11/12. That was at least when I watched it regularly and could understand some of the humour.
Growing up my favourite character was Phoebe – hands down. Her quirky personality and unusual traits felt some what familiar and in fact, my dad called me Pheebs for a while because I reminded him of her.
For my 21st birthday I asked for the 15th anniversary boxset, which to my surprise included unseen scenes and extended episodes! I couldn’t believe it! I’m now 32 and still watching Friends every week. It just doesn’t get boring to me. You can watch any episode and laugh along without being confused of the story line.
The older I get and the more I watch the show, the more I appreciate each character individually. When I was younger, Phoebe was my favourite, and I loved Joey, but the others didn’t seem as funny. Now, however, I see each character in their own unique way and realise they are all hilarious. I’m now a big fan of Ross and his camp expressions.
When I was offered the chance of receiving some of the brand new Friends merchandise, I of course jumped at the chance to add some more goodies to my collection. I always have a Central Perk hoodie and a nightie and eye mask.
Not only am I a big fan of friends but I’m also a big coffee drinker. So you can image my delight when I opened the box to find the BIGGEST Central Perk coffee cup. I mean, seriously, this holds so much coffee!
As well at the huge mug, I also received a standard mug and eco travel mug. All of which have been used regularly since I received them!
The standard mug says “We Were On A Break”, and you can also get one that says “You His Lobster”. I actually really want this as our wedding cake topper said “he’s her lobster” – how amazing is that! And the travel mug says ” I’d Rather Be Watching Friends”.
To go with my awesome new coffee mugs I was recently sent a VonShef 15 Bar Premium Espresso Maker – something I have always wanted! I spend silly amounts of money on takeaway coffee and I’m hoping by having my own espresso maker I can use my new Friends eco travel mug to save myself some money!
We’ve been using our new coffee machine and I have to admit, I really love it. It did take a few attempts to get the coffee right. For example, using the milk frother is a little tricky so make sure you read the instructions.
As a blogger and small business owner I use a lot of notebooks. You can never have enough, right?! My gifted Friends notebook has some fab quotes, including one of my faves “paper, snow, a ghost!”
