A review Of the Lol Pearl Surprise by my lovely sister-in-law Stevie.
So I’m pretty excited right now! I must admit I was more ecstatic playing with the new LOL Pearl Surprise doll than my actual daughter. For any hesitating parents who haven’t jumped on the bandwagon for these blind bag toys, seatbelts on we are going on a fab ride.
Seriously I was sceptical before purchasing these toys, thinking they would be throwaway or not worth the pennies. But in all honesty, they are thought out, storytelling, collecting toys which are definitely worth it.
Since launching there have been a few different series, with one of the newest being the LOL Pearl Surprise. It comes in a beautiful turquoise shell which seconds as a carry case once opened for all the accessories. Inside there is a collection of smaller balls- (keep these for pairs of LOL shoes- they are teeny and just calling to be hoovered up by mr dyson) containing different accessories for your LOL doll.
The core of the surprise is a giant bath bomb. And I am not exaggerating You know the beastly bath bombs from Lush, well this is double the size easily and transforms the kids bath into a blanket of colour. My son and daughter both had the enjoyment of the bath bomb, and finding the true surprise shell in the center. Unlike regular LOL dolls that come in a ball this comes with a turquoise shell to place your doll in its slumber.
Doooo I dare tell you what’s inside? Do I ruin the surprise? Her name is Treasure and she comes along with lil sister Lil Treasure, rocking mermaid waves and colour changing bikini. These are exclusive dolls worthy of any collection.
Have I managed to convince you to give these little divas a go? They cater for all kids, each club defining a character club. There’s sporty, fashion, musical and the last series even bridging the gap and introduction boy LOL dolls (much needed). The pearl is a perfect starter piece purely for the bag to house all the little bits, as well as the exclusivity of the dolls inside.

Ooh thanks for sharing this, my little girl is L.O.L obsessed and would love one of these. I have been wondering if they are worth the pennies. Looks like they are.
