This summer we were sent a Pop ‘N Play playpen from Summer Infant to try out. I was happy to be offered one. Because let’s face it, my little Bam Bam needs to be on lockdown sometimes!
If I had been offered a playpen with Lamb I would of politely declined. He didn’t crawl and once he was moving he simply didn’t need a playpen.
Bear, however, has been crawling properly since he was 5 months old. I just can’t get anything done with him around! It’s for his own safety if I pop him in the playpen when I need to go to the loo or make lunch.
As we have a small living room I found myself using this more in the garden on warm days. For my own peace of mind it was nice to be able to sit and eat my lunch in peace. Without him trying to eat stones or crawl through the flowerbed!
What’s great about this playpen (and what appealed to me when I was offered it to review) is the fact it pops up and down really easily.
As you can see from the photos above it’s really easy to transport around, so can be taken anywhere from a friends house to a holiday destination.
Although it’s quite a large playpen (and we have a fairly small house), being able to store it and fold it down easily was really important to me. It fits nicely in the boot of our car so we can take it with us on most days out.
This playpen covers all of our needs and it still comes out on days when Bear is being clingy. Otherwise I can’t pee in peace! It’s great for all year round. If you’re going to have a crawling baby around Christmas it might be a useful product to buy so your little ones doesn’t pull the tree down while you’re trying to make lunch! HA!
We also reviewed the Summer Infant Babble Band baby monitor which I LOVE and you can read my review here.
