As you already know my beautiful boy turned 2 last month. With money being a little tight we decided against a full on party like we did for his 1st birthday, which you can read about here.
Instead I invited Lambs closest friends over for a Gruffalo inspired tea party. Nothing huge, just some lunch and cake, party bags and lots and lots of toys (and mess!!)
To help with our Gruffalo party we were sent a fab party pack from Party Bags & Supplies. Included in the pack is a table cloth, 8 paper plates and cups, 20 napkins and 8 pre-filled party bags. Seriously, this made the tea party so much easier than if I had to go out and get the bits myself, especially for the party bags!
The party pack retails at £28.40, which I think is amazing value. If you were to go out and buy the bits individually it would definitely cost the same if not more.
As any parent knows, children’s birthday party’s are pretty manic. I was constantly filling up juice cups, making sandwiches and wiping grubby hands, so photographing the party wasn’t a simple task. But at least I got this one of Lamb dressed as Woody!
The kids absolutely loved the Gruffalo themed party stuff. I got them all to choose what animal plate they wanted (each plate was a different colour and animal from the book) They also loved their party bags. I had messages from all of the parents telling me how excited their were when they saw what was inside.
Overall the tea party was a huge success. Ok, so I was completely exhausted at the end off it, my house was turned upside down and I was finding crumbs for days, but Lamb had so much fun and so did his besties.

It’s taken some convincing, but Daddy Lamb has finally agreed to letting me buy Lamb a kitchen for his birthday. He was a little resistant due to the lack of space we have in our house, but I explained Lamb loves playing with his cousins and the ones at nursery and playgroup, so I finally got him to agree, and we have chosen 
, I could buy everything!! Here are a couple of things I’ve found that I think Lamb would love for his 2nd Birthday.
With a love for all things dinosaur I obviously have to get him these 
Lamb is obsessed with stickers. I mean really obsessed. You will find stickers everywhere in our house. On Lambs jumper, sometimes on his face. On the carpets, on the bottom of my slippers. Everywhere! But, oh look, I’ve found some 
would be a great tool for us to start teaching him some more numbers. He’s really good at shapes and colours, so I’m hoping we can say things like ‘triangle number 3’ to teach him. Plus when he’s a little older we can start teaching him time!
Anyone else have a toddler who wants to help do the hoovering? So cute, but so annoying! It takes me so long to hoover! Here is my solution. Buy him his own hoover! Of course it has to be 
Lamb has been going to a new toddler group recently, with his 3 best Friends, Baby Bear, Sophia and Joshy. One thing he’s has mastered while there is how to climb and go down the slide by himself, and he loves it! I’m a bit protective over him as he has never been very confident with climbing etc so I’m always there to catch him if he gets a bit wobbly. This slide from 
Little Lamb love the shapes from Mister Maker. He literally screams “shapes!” over and over when he sees them. These
