If you’ve been following my wedding posts, you may have read my post on choosing our wedding rings. I wrote this before the wedding so I didn’t tell you which wedding ring I had bought but actually gave you the chance to guess for yourself!
Well… the ring I chose was option C! I think a few people got it right.
The photo doesn’t do it justice, but it complements my engagement ring perfectly. It was important to me that my wedding ring sat well against my engagement ring, and that they looked like a pair. I didn’t want a big gap bewteen them, they almost needed to ‘jigsaw’ together. The ring I went for was the closest fit and I knew it was the one.
I didn’t think choosing my wedding ring would be so difficult, it wasn’t as easy as I thought. I tried rings on over and over again. It’s a big decision. You wear your wedding ring for the rest of your life and you have to look at it every day, so it’s got to be right.
My advice when choosing your wedding rings would be take your time, don’t leave it to the last minute and go to a variety of shops. Also, keep in mind stock levels. They may not have the ring you like in stock, and if you are like me and have an uncommon ring size, it may take a while to be ordered. My ring had a month before it would be delivered, but luckily we ordered in October and got married in December.
