Another review of our FAVE toy range – L.O.L Surprise! This time it’s their Hair Goals range which my youngest is beyond excited about.
You may have heard a little about my adoration of these sassy ball surprises, like every girl I am obsessed. We have collected them from series one and have now got a small army of these fashion divas. So imagine my, I mean, Arabella’s reaction to the newest arrival of HAIR GOALS.
YAS, YAS, YASSSSS. I AM TOO EXCITED! These little beauts now have real (artificial) hair! It is styled and you can brush it (this shouldn’t make me this happy but it does).
Rather than the traditional ball surprise, these are in cylinder shapes, and once you’ve taken off the first layer, you’ll recognise that its in fact shaped like a can of hairspray with the items found in miniature rollers. I mean seriously, best design ever.

I’m going to try and downplay how many times I could write the word ‘cute’, but this is majorly cute! Hands down to the people designing these containers. Usually we keep the ball for a while but chuck it out when we lose a half or need the space. Whereas these feel more of a toy, that can be used in different ways, whether with the dolls themselves or in imaginative role play. It feels more worth it in terms of the extra price tag to these.

The individual doll also comes in playful packaging, similar to the under wraps previous series. They are encased in a plastic onesie and mask; ours had little cucumbers on the eyes (cute), so again it adds longevity to the toy compared to previous plastic bags. As for the little plastic bags, you still get the general items; bottle, outfit, glasses, shoes and stickers, with now the added extra of mirror and hair scallop or decoration! Since the beginning these surprise dolls have been exceptionally well made and long lasting, and the newest addition is no different.

This collection is adorable with the styles of Michael Jackson, Marilyn Monroe and Britney Spears homaged in the outfits and hairstyles. Perhaps more targeted to the adult rather than the kids generation. As for our individual surprises, we opened one from the Pop Club- OOPS BABY. Britney in her school gal get up, what is not to love! The pig tails are in ringlets (oh how I wish I had this hairstyle during my childhood!)
As for our other dolly, we got the complete opposite from Spooky Club, Witchay Baby; please someone have a drag name like this! This doll has more style than me, and that bright white lob is something you only see on Instagram.
Overall I am extremely jealous of these fashionistas! I feel like this review was more for me than my daughter, but in all honesty that is what is so appealing. We both get great joy from opening these together, mix and matching their outfits, setting up a pop up shop and now we can even play hairdressers. If your still sceptical about these wondrous toys then please do yourself a favour and get a hair goal surprise!

Life is just full of opportunities. The opportunity to see the world, meet new people and explore other cultures. The opportunity to grow and develop in your career and take on new responsibilities. And, of course, the opportunity to start a family of your own. To grow and nurture a tiny new life and sculpt that life into a person who represents the best of you and the best of your co-parent. Yet, while many of us find ourselves encountering all three of these uniquely wonderful opportunities in our lives… What happens when we receive all three at the same time? Could they be mutually exclusive? Conventional wisdom would have us believe so. However, let’s not forget the immortal saying, “Life begins at the
The quest to finally get a foot on the property ladder can be long and arduous, especially given the current economic conditions. The difficulties people face when seeking to buy their first property have become so well-known and oft-discussed that they almost feel like cliches, but the problems that people face are very real. What’s more, the problems extend far beyond simply buying a property – in an ever-more busy and bureaucratic world, the simple act of
Moving out of your family home for the first time is exciting and scary in equal measures. It’s your true test of independence, and finally a chance to live the way you want as an adult- without rules or restrictions. You have your own space to decorate how you want, entertain friends and even get your own pets- however it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. Moving out of home involves cooking and cleaning for yourself, and paying your own bills amongst other things. And when it comes to finances it can be tricky, most people moving out for the first time are doing so on a really tight budget. Thankfully there are ways to make it work, so whether you’re a young person looking to move, (or you’re in the process of helping your young adult son or daughter through the process) here are some ways to go about it!
