As you all know we have been redecorating our house lots over the past few weeks. I’m taking my time to pick and choose the perfect items I want to put in the rooms we’ve decorated, including my bedroom.

I’ve never really had the ‘perfect’ bedroom. It’s never taken priority, and until now I’ve never felt inspired to make any changes.

As you can read from the title I’m sharing with you my Amazon wish list of rose gold and copper things I want for my bedroom.

I know this is a hugely trendy theme at the moment, but in all honesty I’ve been obsessed with rose gold for years. Grey and pink has been my favourite colour combination since I was about 12. I’m now surrounded with some much stuff I adore, so it’s time to give in to my obsession.

I’ve been buying  some different cushions for our bed and have opted for a mix match selection. My room is very grey and white with a hint of blush pink and rose gold/copper. A couple of the cushions I already have have flecks of metallic on them, so this white and rose gold marble cushion would fit in perfectly.

We never have clocks in the house (maybe that’s why I’m always late!) so I’d like to add a couple around the house. One in my bedroom. I don’t want to have too much of a good thing, so I’d have to make sure it doesn’t look a bit ‘samey’, but I really like this marble and rose gold wall clock.

The lighting in my house isn’t too good. Applying my makeup can be tricky so I’ve been considering a lighted vanity mirror. This one would be perfect as I don’t have a lot of space on my chest of drawers.

The lamp we have in our bedroom is quite plain. It’s grey, so suits our colour scheme, but I’d love to get one that’s slightly more decorative. I love this copper cage style lamp with a white shade.

One thing I always struggle find is a nice bin. They’re always either plastic and cheap or wicker. This copper bin would be a lovely addition to my new bedroom.

We don’t have a wardrobe in our bedroom (there simply isn’t space for one). SO we need somewhere to hang our dressing gowns. This copper door clothes hanger would be ideal and we could hang a couple of coats on there too.

Believe it or not, its my husband that loves adding lighting to rooms (shh… don’t tell him I told you!) He’s put fairy lights around our fireplace in the living room and I know he’d love to add some lights to our bedroom. These rose gold metal string lights are gorge and would make a great feature somewhere.

I finally have an area to keep my make-up and jewellery so I’ve been looking for some pretty places to organise them. I have quite a few make-up brushes so these beautiful rose gold mirrored pots would be perfect to organise brushes and lipsticks.

I’ve got a bit of organising to do in our bedroom (basically going through what clothes I don’t need anymore and tidying my dressing table). Then I can start accessorising better. I’ve already bought new bedding and cushions and desperately want some artwork to go above our bed. But for now I’m just happy to have a freshly decorated bedroom!
