With Christmas fast approaching I’ve been thinking about saving and have come up with these money saving tips ideal for families.
Our personal finances haven’t been great for a few years now. After both my husband and I were made redundant within 10 months of each other, our household income dropped drastically. I became a stay at home mum and my husband started an apprenticeship as an Electrician. Fingers crossed he will be finished by December and can start earning a little more.
As you all know, we’ve battled with a ‘fussy eater’ for the majority of parenthood. Lambs eating issues became apparent when he was around 10 months old. He simply refused food unless it was crackers, breadsticks, toast or crisps. With the exception of some fruit and yoghurt.
Dealing with a fussy eater, in my opinion, is one of the most difficult things a parent can experience. Whether they are fussy due to health issues, or teething, or they have an eating disorder. Or maybe they’ve just decided they hate all food. Whatever the reason, watching your child go for days, or even weeks, without a proper meal is heartbreaking, and to be honest, bloody exhausting.
When I tell people I’ve launched my own children’s clothing brand, so many of them reply with how they’d love to start their own business. I’m no expert but I always encourage someone to follow their dreams!
We were recently sent the Thomas & Friends My First Railway Pals Destination Discovery Playset to review. At the moment I try to only accept reviews of toys that I think will benefit both of the boys, or is something they really want.
As Lamb totally loves playing with his wooden train set, I thought this would be a great toy for him to try out. I also noticed it was suitable from age 1 (until 5 years) so is actually ideal for both Lamb and Bear.

These kinds of posts can be so funny as you never know what they are going to answer. Of course I’d love to include Bear, but as he can only say “ta”, “dada”, “Peppa” and “banana”, so it wouldn’t be much of an interview!
I’ve never been able to get Lamb to take part in stuff like this as he simply can’t be bothered to answer the questions. He rolls his eyes like I’m asking him to take on a mammoth task. I swear that kid is 4 going on 14.
Anyway, I gave it a go and as you can see he’s still not one with his words…
