Last year I wrote a post on gender neutral coming home outfits from H&M, and it’s been one of my most popular posts to date!
With that in mind, I’ve decided to write an updated version as the previous one will have stock no longer available. And that must be pretty annoying for anyone who reads it!
This post will include gender neutral clothes that are in softer colours – so colours you may want for a teeny tiny new baby.
As Lamb approached 2 years old I knew we were slowly reaching second baby territory. At the time we were not quite ready for another, but we knew we would try eventually.
My other half and I discussed the ‘ideal’ age gap we would like between siblings a few times. At one point we agreed waiting until Lamb was 4 so he would be at school when our second baby arrived.
I spent most of Lambs baby months struggling with my emotions; major baby blues. I feared I would be the same with my second. In my head, waiting until Lamb was at school would be easier on me emotionally, as well as physically!
Last summer we took Lamb on his second holiday abroad. While I was there I thought about baby number 2. Was I ready? I was feeling great and in a good place emotionally. I was happy. Really, really happy.
As you may know Lamb was chosen to be part of the Big Jigs Play Patrol this year. Which is amazing because he absolutely loves his wooden train track.
So far we have reviewed figure of eight track which is lovely, and the perfect set for a gift or to start a collection.

I’m writing this post from the comfort of our stunning holiday bungalow in Dorset. I’m sitting in a large open plan living room facing the ocean – it’s simply beautiful. The family have walked to the local shop, Bear is napping, so I’m taking the time to relax and do a bit of work undisturbed.
Yes, I’m on holiday so should of left the laptop at home, but I just couldn’t help myself. I’m making use of the extra hands to help with the boys!
I’ve decided to share with you our favourite family travel products, as a few of them are new and well worth a recommendation. Some aren’t necessarily for travelling but something we take with us.
Today I was the shouty mum.
In fact yesterday I was the shouty mum too. And last week.
“Mum can you help me get the bad guy?” “Yes, in a minute.”
“MUM, can you help me get the bad guy??” “Wait, I’m just doing something.”
“MUM! CAN YOU HELP ME GET THE BAD GUY?”
“I SAID WAIT A MINUTE!”
There, I snapped. It was only 8:30am and I shouted at my 4 year old for asking for help. Help. That’s all he wanted. Help with his computer game. (Yes, he was playing Banjo Kazooie at 8:30 in the morning.) And then I shouted some more.
