When I was asked to review the Blaze Fire Truck I actually didnt realise who Blaze was. I just saw the big red truck that transforms into a fire truck (2 things Lamb loves at the moment) and knew we could easily review the toy.

The parcel arrived and I waited for Lamb to get home from preschool before we openedit. As soon as he saw his new toy he shouted “it’s Blaze!” My husband and I looked at each other slightly confused and thinking “who?”.

Turns out Blaze is a cartoon on Nickelodeon. A channel we don’t watch. However we realised it’s on Netflix so Lamb must of seen it there, but we no idea when, as neither of us had seen it before.

Lamb was so excited and began driving it around the living room straight away.

Once we looked at it further we figured out how to transform it from a monster machine into Fire Truck Blaze, where we found the button for the sounds and flashing lights.

As you can see the truck is a decent size so will withstand lots of playing. Which is a good thing, as Lamb seems to like chucking this around the house!

The Blaze Fire Truck retails at £19.99. I think this is fairly reasonable for what it does. After reviewing it with Lamb I would definitely buy more from the range for him. In fact we will be getting him the Transforming Blaze Jet which he has put on his Christmas list.

Suitable for ages 3 and up, this is the perfect gift for any vehicle loving child, whether they watch Blaze and The Monster Machines or not.

Having a child who loves stickers, enjoys drawing, always asks to read stories and gets excited about puzzles, BUT loses interest pretty quickly, I’m reluctant to spend a lot of money on these areas of activities.

My solution? Children’s magazines.

Lamb has loved buying magazines for a while now and has finally got to the age where he actually sits down and looks through the whole thing from start to finish.

Since the Teletubbies made their comeback he’s become quite a fan. In fact, I caught him and daddy dancing away to the Teletubbies theme song the other day. I remember the year it was released (my last year of primary school) making it 20 years old!

The teletubbies magazine offers so much for his 3 year old mind to soak up.

Whether he’s listening to one of us read him a short story, spotting differences, learning to write or carefully placing stickers (which he’s incredibly good at), each page captures his attention.

There’s a great mix of pages which he can engage with and as well as a short story. Not only that, it can’t with a little sleeping Lala toy for him to play with.

With a price tag of £2.99 (which I think is very reasonable) the Teletubbies magazine is one of the cheaper children’s magazines on the shelves. For the amount of content you get, I’d definitely recommend it to others.
