Brand & Blog
Well it’s that time again! Weekend Baby Style week 5 for us. Seriously how quick do these weeks go?!!
This week I let Lamb dress himself. He genuinely picked out this outfit and I have to say, I’m rather impressed! It seems my love for mix match is brushing off on him!
Lambs stripy vest is from H&M, I’m not sure of the price as it was a present but I doubt it was any more than £5. His giraffe print leggings are from Fred & Noah. I’m sure you’ve all heard of this brand. A lovely lady making clothing from home who offers the most amazing, fun prints. They cost £12.00 and we have had them for so long. I remember when Fred & Noah first started sharing their leggings on twitter etc and now they are hugely popular! A friend of mine took her daughter along for a photo shoot for them and the photos are so cute. Go and take a look at Fred & Noah if you haven’t already.
Finally Lamb’s jumper is from H&M, again I’m not sure on the price, I usually don’t pay a lot for things in H&M, I think this must of been around £9.99, maybe slightly more. As you can see from the photo it’s a little baggy. I find H&M children’s clothing comes up quite big, so things last a long time on Lamb.
His trainers are from Next and cost around £12. He does have more shoes, I promise, but he just won’t wear them! He always asks for “green shoes” when I try to put another pair on him. Oh well, luckily I bought the same pair a couple of sizes up.
I hope you’ve all had a fab weekend!

I’d like to introduce to you a new product we have stumbled across; one which we absolutely love and recommend.
Lamb received his Giddy Bowl from a family member for Christmas last year who picked it up from The Ideal Home Show. The Giddy Bowl is a product by a company called Gr8 Solution who design and make innovative and practical products for everyday life.
As soon as Lamb started using the bowl we knew it was a genius product. The photos below will explain it all. He ran around holding the bowl with absolutely no spillages. Let me make it clear this bowl will spill; if thrown across the room or dropped from a high distance! However, this is intended to prevent spillages when used by a child eating snacks, lunch and treats.
Regardless of whether you do get the odd spill with this bowl (which I can assure you will be rare), the decrease in spillages compared with standard bowls will surprise you.
Not only that, Lamb is much more confident when carrying his food from the kitchen to his little table and chairs where he likes to sit and eat (or stand!).
We love the Giddy Bowl so much I contacted the company to let them know how impressed I was with their product. They were extremely grateful for the feedback, as this is a new product and has yet to break through the doors of retail stores and can only be bought directly from Gr8 Solution.
With this in mind I offered my help to promote the Giddy Bowl. As a blogger I love finding unique and innovative products I genuinely believe parents and families would love and appreciate.
So look out for the Giddy Bowl at the next Ideal Home Show, and you never know it may soon be in your favourite baby shop!
If you would like to purchase a Giddy Bowl you can contact me directly here, leave a comment below or head over to the Gr8 Solution website. They retail at £9.99 and are available in either yellow/pink or green/blue.

Recently I splashed out on another boys clothing haul from Zara. I don’t know why, I didn’t really need to, but with Lamb’s 2nd birthday in a few weeks he’s going to need plenty of clothes in the next size. I’ve also got to get used to buying in yearly intervals, not 6 monthly! And you can never have enough clothes, right?
I’ve already stocked up on clothes from our other favourite shops. You can read my River Island haul post here. I haven’t done a post on what I’ve bought from H&M, so I’ll make sure I get that on the blog soon.
I don’t think I need to give much of an introduction to this haul. I’m obsessed with Zara kids and love their printed stuff. I’ve tried to buy items that mix and match (with a bit of colour clashing). I love nothing more than putting Lamb in every colour of the rainbow in one outfit!
Sweatshirts
Both sweatshirts retail at £10.99
T-shirts
The bear long sleeve tee retails at £4.99, and the tiger t-shirt retails at £6.99.
Leggings
What a surprise… more printed leggings! All 3 retails at £6.99.
I’m rather frustrated as I’m writing this, as Zara have just added some new pieces to their toddler boys clothing, including some more printed leggings! To order, or not to order…
Outfits
Here’s a few ways these pieces can be styled together.
I hope you like these bits I bought Lamb. He actually wore one of the sweatshirts to The Baby Show last weekend and had lots of comments on how cool he looked! You can read about our trip to the show here.

This week we brought 2 new members of the family into the house.
Luna. A beautiful 10 month old rag doll cat who I’m slowly falling in love with.
Toodles/Minnie. An 8 week old kitten who is playful and mischievous. Lamb wants to call it Toodles if it’s a boy or Minnie if it’s a girl. It’s teeny tiny and terribly cute. But it’s a handful. And Luna isn’t too keen on sharing my love.
For those of you who have followed my blog for the last year, you will know I’ve not had the easiest time since Lamb came along. I have, what I like to call, a ‘dark cloud’ that hovers over me. No, I don’t have postnatal depression, well, not confirmed, but what I do have is heightened emotions and crazy hormones.
Yesterday was my first day home alone with the 3 of them. Lamb, Luna and Toddles/Minnie, and it was hard. Luna hissing, kitten scratching, Lamb tormenting. Enter the dark cloud.
This may sound crazy, but I genuinely felt the dark cloud slowly creeping over me and I wanted to crack.
Is this what’s it’s going to be like when I have another baby? Am I going to crack every time the pressure is put on? I honestly felt like I couldn’t cope with more than one. Maybe it’s because I’ve only just mastered parenting Lamb, that I’m not ready for another responsibility. Hopefully by waiting another 2 years before trying for another baby, I’ll be totally prepared for the responsibility?
I know this is a short and random post, but this has been playing on my mind all day.
Let’s see how the rest of the week goes with a house full…

P.S. It doesn’t help that I’ve got the cough from hell. Rant over.
