Ok I admit it, Bear isn’t a baby. He’s well and truly a toddler and has been for a while! We can’t help but hold on to his early years and still see him as our baby. He’s so diddy!
The thing is, he acted like a toddler a lot sooner than his big brother did. And although he’s a lot smaller, he’s much feistier and active.
A few months ago Safety 1st got in touch and asked if we wanted to choose a few of their products to update our home to be more toddler friendly. I had a look and they had a few items I knew we would find useful.

Most of us love getting away from the daily routine by taking a holiday, and summer is the perfect time to do so. For some, the destination isn’t too important; they simply want somewhere they can relax and do something a little different. For others, however, we’re overwhelmed with the number of beautiful places in the world, And we want to share all of them with our children. Especially if you have young children, travelling long-haul can be quite a feat, so in this post I’m looking at some of the most popular destinations for family holidays right here in Europe.
Other than consuming a lot of coffee, I’ve had to come up with ways of getting through a long car journey with a 5 and 2 year old. Well, the 5 year old is easy to entertain. The 2 year old however, he’s the trouble maker.
So, you have finally decided it is time to plan that holiday of a lifetime and splash out on one of the best adventures you could ever hope to have. Planning this amazing break doesn’t have to be the mammoth task it may initially appear to be, but rather a breezy process where you can get the practicalities out of the way quickly and efficiently. Meaning you can get down to the business of crossing the days off on your calendar until you jet off somewhere magical.
Over the years I’ve stayed in a hotels, apartments and private villas. All have their advantages. But thinking about our first holiday as a family of four (whenever that may be), I’ve been swaying towards a villa holiday.
