I’ve already written a Christmas gift guide for myself (hopefully hubby’s had a look!) but I’ve been thinking about what I want to buy the girls in my family. I normally don’t struggle to buy for my mum etc, but in case you are struggling here’s some ideas for Christmas gifts, to help you out.
Make up
Buy me make up and you can’t really go wrong. I’m happy to use a variety of brands, doesn’t always have to be the expensive stuff. But, as it’s Christmas I always like to receive make up that I can’t normally afford to buy for myself. I’ve received samples from Joan Collins Beauty* and I’m really happy with them.
Make up brushes are also a great gift to buy someone who loves make up. I’m obsessed with new brushes and have to stop myself buying new ones when I see cute or fancy designs. I’m currently using ones form Wilkos (yes Wilkos!) and I love them. One thing I’m awful at is cleaning my brushes. When I do clean them I normally just use baby shampoo or baby wash.
Real Techniques have a really good make up brush cleansing gel* which I was sent from TJ Hughes. I’ve used it a couple of times and cleaning my brushes once a week makes a such a difference. I definitely recommend this as a little stocking filler.
Candles
If you really are stuck I’m sure a candle would be happily received from someone for Christmas. They are certainly not something I really buy myself, but I do love lighting candles around the house. I specifically like having them in the kitchen to keep the room smelling fresh.
TJ Hughes sent me this festive candle from Baylis & Harding*. It smells so christmassy and would be such a lovely gift for someones home. Plus they are so much cheaper in TJ Hughes so you could get them 2!
Skincare
Products for face or body can be such a lovely gift for most ages. I usually buy my mother in law something from the Sanctuary Spa* range (they have really lovely products at reasonable prices). I picked these 2 items from TJ Hughes who kindly gifted them to me.
Personally I’d love some Clarins products. I’m using a cleanser and toner, as well as their Beauty Flash Balm at the moment and it makes my skin feel so lovely. I’d be happy for the Christmas elves to bring me some more this year. I’d also LOVE this make-up remover set, as I do wear quite a lot of make up most days and need to look after my skin.
Nightwear
Everyone needs new pyjamas. Even if they recently bought some, they still need more. There’s nothing better then new pjs, new slippers and a new dressing gown. Am I right?! I’m right. I love Next for things like this. For someone a little younger, ASOS have the coolest printed pjs. My maternity cloud pyjamas were from there and I still wear them now!
Stationary

I recently discovered the brand Kikki.K and actually treated myself to a new diary in their sale. I totally fell in love with their planners and put one on my Christmas list. If you have someone who loves a notebook or diary I highly recommend looking at this brand. Their shopping can take a while so get ordering!
I’m also a huge fan of Busy B products. This year I had their ‘Busy Life‘ diary and loved it. They do such a cute range of designs and their prices are really reasonable.
So those are a few quick and easy Christmas gifts ‘for her’. If you still don’t know what to get then why not look at some vouchers. Maybe a Spa day, or an Amazon voucher where they can do a little online shopping.
As you can see a lot of the gifts in this list are from TJ Hughes. Why not take a look at the TJ Hughes Christmas gifts page for more ideas.
