It’s safe to say ‘looking after ourselves’ kinda gets put on the back burner where we become parents. (And if it doesn’t please tell me how the hell you keep up with it?!)

I’m lucky if I manage a 30 second shower each day, let alone my skincare routine, even though I do try to use organic and natural products when it comes to shaving creams and other skin care remedies. I hardly put make up on anymore and my hair is constantly in a mum bun.
Even a trip to the doctors is tricky. General check ups are out of the question without childcare. If it’s something more serious that can’t wait, like an ear infection, places like Auris Ear Care are a good place to look if I need a check up.
Surely there are ways we can keep on top of health and beauty, as well as change nappies, wipe noses and do the school run? Even if you’re a professional beautician you may need to take time to update your make up or toiletry bag, https://www.ellisons.co.uk
I’ve asked my fellow parent bloggers for their top tips for keeping on top of health and beauty routines and generally looking after yourself. Because if we don’t, then we’ll burn out, and just not go out because we look like crap. 😉

Style can seem like one of those concepts we all mutually agree on without actually having strict or similar definitions for it. For instance, you don’t have to wear expensive clothes to have good style. Someone wearing a uniform could have good style provided they place their own, subtle flair on how they wear it. You can have style even in limited clothing, such as swimwear, which can be fashionable without having to actually provide much of substance.

As the weather brightens up it’s time to look inside our wardrobe at what items can be transitioned into the warmer months. I’ll admit, I don’t have many clothes. Finances don’t allow it, as well as an awkward body shape and fluctuating clothes size.

I ordered the coat in a size 12 and it’s perfect for me. My hips are a size 14 but my upper body is a 8/10/12 (all depending where I shop) so I need something that will cover my bottom half, but won’t sag off my small chest and shoulders.

Not only that, but they use plus size and curvy models as they specialise in larger sizes, however they start from a size 10!

Every year I get asked what I want for my birthday, and every year I struggle with gift ideas. I rarely go shopping because in all honesty I don’t have any money, so what’s the point!
