With Christmas around the corner it’s time to think about Christmas presents. I always struggle with what to buy different family members.
I actually like receiving ‘smellies’ as I rarely buy any for myself. But, I don’t like buying the typical products you see every Christmas. That’s where Green People come in.
A few weeks ago I was asked if I wanted to choose a couple of items from online store JD Williams. I’d never shopped with them before so I was looking forward to the challenge of seeing what they had to suit my style.
It didn’t take too long for me to pick out some items that I desperately needed to update my Autumn Wardrobe.
Every morning the boys and I walk to school, and every afternoon Bear and I walk to pick Lamb up. With that in mind I wanted to choose something that would be ideal for keeping me warm on the school run. I needed comfort, warmth and convenience to make those rushed mornings a little smoother.
Something I desperately needed was a new coat. There’s a huge selection of women’s winter coats at JD Williams but in the end I went for something that would keep me dry on a rainy day, warm on a winter day, and not too hot on a warmer day. I chose a parka jacket from Trespass.
The second item I chose was a boxy jumper in black. I love loose fitting tops that I can throw on quickly and feel comfortable in. I’m a size 10, sometimes 12, on top and ordered a size medium. It’s the perfect fit and even as I lose weight, it will still fit nicely. I actually like it so much, I’m going to buy the berry version too. This would be a lovely addition to my autumn wardrobe.
The final item I chose was a new pair of boots. I wanted something smart/casual, with a small heel. I get achy feet if I wear flat boots for too long, so always like a heel. The ones I chose aren’t the comfiest pair I’ve own, but perfect for what I need them for. The short walk to school and back.
I am super pleased with the items I chose. Ordering from JD Williams was straightforward and the delivery was speedy.

My Autumn wardrobe desperately needs updating and I’ve found myself browsing the new arrivals at Next. The colours and textures of this season have to be my favourite and I do get quite excited at the thought of getting my chunky bobble hat out of the wardrobe.
