It’s been a while since I shared what I’ve been buying for the boys with you. Well, apart from snaps on Instagram. This is mainly because I’m too poor to shop! After finally receiving my insurance settlement I decide to update the boys wardrobes and treat them. I’ve been saving all the new bits I’ve picked up recently to put into one big shopping haul post.
There’s a mix of baby and younger boy (I have to stop calling him a toddler!) clothes that I picked up in the sale or from new season – so a bit of everything!

As you can see I’m loving grey and prints at the moment. BB has a different skin tone and hair colour to Lamb and he really suits monochrome, whereas Lamb really suits bright colours. I’m trying to be strict on what I buy Lamb and make sure it’s something I would put BB in when he’s older. One pro of having 2 boys!
So here’s what I bought:
- Zig Zag joggers – H&M – current season.
- Grey trousers – TU at Sainsburys – current season.
- Selection of baby clothes from H&M – all current season.
- Numbers leggings – Tobias & The Bear – sale.
- Selection of young boy clothes from Bluezoo (Debenhams) – sale (apart form the monkey t-shirt which was new).
- Baby boy clothes from Next – all new season.
- Zip sleepsuits – Mamas & Papas – new season.
- Baby outfit – F&F (Tesco) – new season.
I can’t remember how much things cost as I’ve been buying bits for a few weeks, but everything was pretty reasonable.
I’ve also bought some gorgeous bits from Zara which I will share in a separate haul post soon.

I can’t go out of the house without wearing make-up. I just can’t. (Ok, maybe if I’m just dropping Lamb to nursery, I won’t bother, but most days I put on something).
When I wake up I use the All Bright Micellar 3 in 1 Cleansing Solution to clean my face and remove any make up I may have missed the night before (no matter how hard you scrub, you’ll always find a bit of foundation somewhere!) I love this product. It’s so good at removing tough make up like mascara and eye liner, which I wear a lot of.
Before applying my make up I use a little of the All Bright Hydrating Day Cream. I can get dry skin so I need to keep my skin hydrated so this product is perfect for that. It’s also SPF 15 which is so important as I’m fair skinned and need to keep my skin protected.
My daily make up routine can vary depending on what I’m doing. If I know I’m going to be at home I’ll just put on the bare minimum, but if we are going out I’ll use a few more products. You can read my detailed
For a bit of contouring and colour I use a bronzer and highlighter, but not if I’m in a hurry. I love liquid eyeliner, but this can be a little harsh for everyday use. I always go for a black mascara as my eyelashes are very fair.
What do you think?!
I’m well known in my circle of friends for being a bit of a bargain hunter. When I was pregnant with Lamb I worked really close to a large Tesco so I would pop in on my lunch break and always come out with some sort of bargain from the clothing department. I ended up with way too much and he didn’t get to wear some of it.

The items I chose for Lamb are in their current sale, so be quick if you want them as it ends Sunday!
In early August we will be heading to a friends wedding and of course that means a new dress for me! I’ve been searching my favourite place to shop online, ASOS, for something that will not only compliment my curves, but that is also breastfeeding friendly.

As I mentioned before these are all from the ASOS Outlet so are all in the sale – even better. I have actually already bought one (the floral black maxi) and it fits well and is perfect for breastfeeding! Success!
