There can be some really funny health & safety rules and regulations and warnings out there, like the classic “please remove child before washing” etc.
I suppose there are some people who need reminding otherwise they wouldn’t bother telling us!
Www.sheilds.org have asked us to share some #WeirdRules that we have come across. As my baby brain is in full swing and I have the memory of a sieve, I’ve asked some of my fellow bloggers to share their funniest health & safety rules they’ve come across. Some are seriously funny!
“I saw a metal slide yesterday covered in warning signs. I thought they were going to say ‘this slide is out of action, do not use’ but no… they said ‘This slide can get hot in sunlight, please check the temperature before sliding’. (2 Boys 1 Mum)
“Packs of nuts that say may contain nuts! That always gets me!” (Www.twoheartsoneroof.com)
“I saw a sign once that said ‘caution, this sign has sharp edges’. Literally nothing else on the sign. I have no idea what it’s purpose was?! (My Family Fever)
“In the Blue Mountains in Australia there is the steepest railway in the world. The health and safety sign ends with ‘hold onto all your belongings including small children as they may get lost’!” (Mrs H’s Favourite Things)
“I really like this one: https://instagram.com/p/1aAQCNQZ1F/ which I think speaks for itself!” (Mummy Is A Gadget Geek)

“This one is everywhere in Sweden. Pretty much – it’s dangerous to transport items in lifts that do not have an interior door. The picture is so grim but makes me laugh too as it’s so obvious!” (A Mum Reviews)
What funny health & safety notices have you come across? I’d love to hear them!

Sometimes I look at my baby and wonder what’s going on in his head. In fact, I think this about Lamb too. Millions of thoughts whizzing through their minds, constantly soaking up their surroundings and making memories.
Well, well, well, we’re at the 3 month mark! Can you believe it?! My baby boy is growing up so fast, but I’m loving every second and trying to soak him up as much as possible. The past month has flown by. We are now getting our first giggles which is adorable. He’s found his voice and babbles so much, and if you don’t pick him up quick enough he’ll definitely tell you about it!
I love having a cat as a pet because I find them extremely comforting, especially when I’m home alone. I’ve had dogs in the past when I lived at home, and they are great for protection, however there’s something about cats that are much more relaxing to me. Just having them for company makes an lonely evening less lonely.
To celebrate International Cat Day I’ve asked some of my blogging buddies why the love cats too.
