Last year I wrote a post on gender neutral coming home outfits from H&M, and it’s been one of my most popular posts to date!
With that in mind, I’ve decided to write an updated version as the previous one will have stock no longer available. And that must be pretty annoying for anyone who reads it!
This post will include gender neutral clothes that are in softer colours – so colours you may want for a teeny tiny new baby.
I’ll also write a post on gender neutral baby clothes that are a little more colourful.
NEXT
Next is currently my favourite place to buy clothes for the boys. The sizing is generous and the quality is great, so they last. I’m loving their prints and colours at the moment, not so much the baby blue stuff. Plus there’s one really close to my house so I don’t have to park in town and go to the high street!
I hate when their new baby ranges come out because I no longer need to buy sleepsuits and their animal prints and some of their monochrome prints are just delicious. Maybe I’ll keep Bear in sleepsuits just a little longer… the problem is he’s so diddy he’s 15 months and still wearing 9-12 months clothing! In fact the sleepsuits are too big! I don’t think I’ll ever buy him any in 12-18 months.
Here’s a few items from their current range that are unisex and perfect for a coming home outfit.

H&M
H&m is probably my favourite place to buy baby basics and unisex, neutral clothing. Both Lamb and Bear came home from the hospital in H&M outfits. Their clothing is good quality, sizing is generous so they last and the prices are amazing.
I’ve picked out some pieces from their current range that I think would be lovely to use as a coming home outfit for with a boy or a girl.

MOTHERCARE
Mothercare, in my opinion, have had some really strong collections recently. I’m completely hooded on the MyK range by Myleene Klass, and their own lines are really cute. There’s such a huge selection available I could probably dedicate a whole post to baby clothes from Mothercare. So it’s well worth looking at their website for more lovely baby bits.
I’ve also included the most beautiful newborn set from Little Green Sheep in this selection. Bear had the grey version of this sleepsuit, and it was honestly one of the softest sleepsuits we’ve ever had. The sizing comes up quite generous so Bear was wearing a 3-6 month sleepsuit when he was in 6-9 month clothing, however he’s a small baby so that was the case with most brands!

THE ESSENTIAL ONE
The Essential One are a lovely little brand who I discovered when I was pregnant with Bear. I saw a couple of bloggers share photos of their new babies in the cloud print sleepsuit and fell in love. Since then I’ve bought a few more items for Bear, as well as gifts for new babies. I also bought some of their nursing clothes and sleep bra when I was breastfeeding.
Below are a few of their unisex designs that would be perfect for a newborn coming home form the hospital.

LAMB & BEAR
Of course I couldn’t write a post on unisex baby outfits without including my own brand! My new Lamb & Bear baby range has been designed for exactly this – gender neutral coming home outfits, or newborn gifts. There’s a Zippy Sleepsuit, with matching Baby Headband and Swaddle Blanket.

There’s many more places to find lovely gender neutral newborn outfits. If I find any winners I’ll be sure to share them with you!
What’s your favourite from what I’ve selected?
