This weekend I took a drive to The Baby Show at the Excel centre to say hi to some of my fave brands and wonder around to see some of the amazing products available there.
If you haven’t been to The Baby Show before it’s well worth a visit if you are expecting a baby, or have a newborn. There are some amazing deals and brands and they cater for everyones needs while you’re there. There’s a free creche if you have older kiddies to take with you, a baby changing area with free wipes and nappies (this year was sponsored by Mamia). There is always a Joie Cafe with plenty of Joie highchairs for your little ones to enjoy their lunch in, an Emma’s Diary shopping drop-off and collect by car service, and the amazing Tommee Tippee feeding area.
I took my sister-in-law along with me as she had never been before and she was super impressed with the amount of brands out there, most of which she had never heard of before. I think this shows how important these events are; they give new parents the opportunity to really see what’s available and buy the perfect product for them.
While there I went over to say hi to Cosatto, Lottie even had a cuddle with my niece Arabella. Lamb has one of their Storybeds and we absolutely love it. You can read our review on it here.
For nappy changes we popped over to the Mamia changing area. With a huge supply of Mamia nappies, wipes and Stokke changing tables, there was enough for everyone to change their little ones in peace all day long.
I’m a huge fan of the Mamia wipes and buy them regularly. I haven’t tried their nappies before so was keen to see how we got on, as I could do with spending less on nappies! Well, he wore one all the way home and we were leak free! He even did the code brown test and we had no leaks from there either! So I’ll be buying these in the future.
I was super impressed with the Stokke Care changing table. Lamb is nearly 2 and he fit on it fine. I have yet to try any Stokke products but I’m well aware they are a loved brand, and I will definitely be thinking about using them for my next baby (whenever that may be!) What I love about this changing table was the different stages it can be used in. I took a photo of the sticker on the table to show you. It’s genius!
Next up I popped over to speak with Joie as I’m currently reviewing their Stages car seat and wanted to ask them a few questions. One thing I learned while speaking with them is how you pronounce Joie. Its ‘joy’ not ‘joey’! A mistake I was making myself! I’ll be writing the review on the Stages cars seat in the next few weeks. I’ve also reviewed their Chrome pram which you can read about here.
Our last stop of the day was the Tommee Tippee stand. Lamb has used Tommee Tippee products from the day he was born, and two years on we are still big fans. When I was invited to the launch of their new cups I couldn’t resist going. Lamb drinks a lot so we are always keen to try new sippy cups. While mummy was talking baby products, Lamb had lots of fun in the Tommee Tippee play are.
After learning all about the new Tommee Tippee cups we were lucky enough to take one away with us for Lamb to try. We were also given a goodie bag with one of each cup to giveaway to all of our lovely followers! Once Lamb has used his cup for a few days, I’ll write up a review and include the giveaway of the 3 cups. So far he really likes it! Look out for our review later this week.
