Ok, I’ve been at it again. Online ‘window’ shopping! I can’t help it. I’m finally feeling excited about having a newborn and can’t stop myself looking at potential outfits for my second baby boy.

Here’s a quick H&M wishlist. I love the baby boy selection available at the moment, the toddler stuff however, not so good.

I’m going to try my best not to buy any of these items for baby boy just yet. However I will be seriously disappointed if they sell out before I grab them! I love the cream/green cactus print leggings, so cute!

The banana onesie is amazing, but maybe something like that is better for when he’s a little older?

I’ve been gradually buying bits for baby boy and I seemed to have accumulated a lovely collection of clothes. So of course it’s time to share a baby boy haul with you. This first haul is of the full priced items I’ve bought, so if you like something you’ll be able to grab it.

As you can see from the below photos I’ve got a love for monochrome and graphic prints. Those who know me well won’t be surprised at what I’ve bought. I will have a few colourful bits in his wardrobe, but this is what I’m really drawn to at the moment. (Look out for my baby boy sale haul coming soon which has a couple of brightly coloured baby grows from Little Bird.)

H&M has always been one of my favourite places to buy baby clothes. Their 0-2 years range is always so lovely, but unfortunately they seem to lack in the toddler department, so Lamb doesn’t have much from there any more. I wish they went up to age 3 or 4 in the baby section!

Next have really stepped up their game this season and have some gorgeous monochrome prints. I’m particularly in love with the milk bottles! I normally like to shop in the sale, especially for sleepsuits as you need quite a few, but I’ve got a feeling this range will sell out fast, so if you want it buy it!

Finally I’ve bought some bits from Zara. They were mainly in the sale but I did get the below leggings pull price – I couldn’t resist! They were actually from the girls section but will suit a baby boy. I highly recommend checking out both baby sections (girls and boys) as you’ll find some of their leggings are definitely unisex.

I was pretty sensible and kept all of my maternity clothes from my first pregnancy. Mainly because they were in great condition, I mean you only wear them for 9 months, plus while you’re losing the baby weight.

The dates of my first pregnancy are similar to my second, meaning I can wear the same clothes again. I don’t really care too much about ‘trends’ etc when I’m pregnant, it’s all about comfort. Of course I want to look nice, but wearing something on trend for just 9 months isn’t vital.

There a few things in my maternity wardrobe (old and new) that I love and recommend so I thought I’d share them with you incase you’re looking to buy some maternity bits.

1. Topshop Leigh Jeans. These are by far my favourite maternity jeans. They are so damn comfortable, the fabric is super stretchy and they fit really well. I normally don’y buy trousersfrom Topshop as I’m super pear shaped and struggle to find the right fit, but the maternity Leigh’s are perfect for me. I’m currently wearing my size 12’s but by the end of my pregnancy I imagine I’ll be in 14’s (exactly what happened in my first pregnancy). I’ve got 4 pairs from my first pregnancy and I wear them daily.
2. George at ASDA Maternity Tops. I bought these when I was pregnant with Lamb and they are perfect for this weather. Like most pregnant women I get really hot so I can wear these long sleeve tops under a jumper and if I get too hot I’ll take off a layer. They was really well, are nice and stretchy and really good value.
3. New Look Maternity Checked Shirt (From ASOS). This is a new item in my maternity wardrobe which I bought to wear at Christmas. I didn;t want to waste my money on something too dressy up as I would only wear it once or twice. Personally, I think a checked shirt can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. I wore this with navy skinny jeans and Anna Klein leather boots, accessorised with a chunky necklace.
4. Bravado Silk Seamless Nursing Bra. I was recently sent this bra to review and It’s amazing. It’s definitely the most comfortable nursing bra I’ve owned. It fits really well, washes really well and is easy to open and close for nursing (not that I’m nursing yet!) You can read my full review here.
5. H&M MAMA Padded Jacket. I recently bought this coat in the H&M sale. Well, if you can call it a sale. There’s been a rail in my local store for months, same old crap, nothing worth looking at. Until a few weeks before Christmas they put this coat into the sale for £25. My pregnant friend bought it and of course I had to grab one. This time round I’m showing much earlier and my bump seems bigger so I had to invest some pennies into a maternity coat. Its super warm and super comfy.

I’ve of course been browsing online looking for baby clothes, even more so now I know I’m having another baby boy. I’m being very careful not to buy much. We have lots packed away in the loft so we really don’t need to go crazy, that doesn’t mean I can’t browse.

Baby Gap is one of my favourite places to buy newborn clothing. Unfortunately they don’t sell much unisex items, if any at all. Online you can only click on ‘baby boy’ or ‘baby girl’ categories. This means I wasn’t able to buy anything in the boxing day sale; by the time I knew what the gender was everything had sold out. All that was left was girls stuff. Shock.

We’ve got a few months before baby boy arrives, so fingers crossed I’ll make it to another sale to grab some bargains, and fingers crossed again the bits on my wishlist are reduced!

I am absolutely in love with the bear print babygrow and leggings and I’m really tempted to buy them as baby boy’s coming home outfit.

I love sleepsuits that fasten with zips, I have a few in the loft we kept of Lambs. I’m always looking for more so if you know where I can buy some let me know!

I was recently contacted by George at Asda (one of my fave supermarket clothing ranges) to look over their baby clothing range and blog about my favourite finds.

I wasn’t sure whether to wait until we found out the gender, but decided to pick my favourite pieces from the boys and girls range to give a little variety to the post. I may throw a couple of unisex items in at the end too as I like to buy a lot of unisex in the early months.

As I’m used to buying for a boy I’ll start with the boys range. Since Lamb was a baby, I’ve found a love for Mickey Mouse baby clothes, which really surprised me as I normally hate gimmicky stuff. The Mickey Mouse clothes by George are not gimmicky at all and really cute. I seem to be drawn to stripes too!

Now onto the baby girls range. Something I’m not used to shopping for! Who knows, I may need to shop for a baby girl more after our scan on Wednesday! I absolutely love the yellow range, perfect for a May baby girl!

I also love the navy/pink items I’ve chosen. How cute is that Minnie Mouse dress!

Next up are some unisex items I like and some newborn essentials.

It feels so strange shopping for newborn items again, but also really exciting! This time on Wednesday I’ll know if the baby is pink or blue and if I’ll be buying Mickey or Minnie!
